Chapter 8 - Meeting Again

Eren's POV

"You!" I stagger back and point my finger at his face. "W-what are you doing here?!"

"Getting a drink from the pub." He says as he furrows his brows. "What are you doing here, brat?"

"G-getting a drink from the pub.. And it's not brat it's Eren!" I pouted and looked right into his eyes. His silver gray eyes pulled me right into him. I come back to my senses when I realize that he was already walking past me.

"Levi." He said as he slipped behind me. When did he get there?! He seems so fast..

His name was Levi..? Levi.. I liked the sound of that name..

What am I thinking? Again? Ugh, seriously, what is wrong with me? He just a random guy I just met. A random attractive guy..

Levi's POV

"Earl grey." I said looking at the bartender. God, he was adorable when he pouted at me. His cubby cheeks, bright eyes, tan skin..

I glance over my shoulder and see the brat shuffling over the seat behind me. He seemed to be muttering about something.

Eren.. It was a weird name but it suited him.

"Hey, kid."

"Y-yes?!" He says jumping out of his seat."

"What was that for? Jumping all of a sudden.." I take a sip out of my tea.

"Ah, i-it's just a force of habit I guess.."

"Hmm.. Who were you searching for in the forest?"

"Why do you need to know?" He says in a low voice. Damn, his serious tone was so sexy..

"Nothing much.."

Eren's POV

Why did he ask that question all of a sudden? What if he was searching for the same person?! No, I can't say anything or else he'll find out about my clan..

I glance at my watch, 11:38 PM. Wow, it's getting late, I should head back before Mikasa freaks out.

"Thanks for the drink, Eld!" I said leaving the change on the table.

"No problem! Come back again, Eren!"

Before heading out, I noticed Levi staring at me. My face began to heat up. Why am I heating up?! Geez! First of all, why is he staring at me?! I look away to try and hide my face and head out the door.

Levi's POV

Was he blushing just now? I thought I saw his face turn red all of a sudden. Was that my imagination? Wait, why am I staring at him?!

For some reason, my eyes were instantly glued to him as he stood up. He was really well built. I could tell from the size of his body. Tch. I start to bite the bottom of my lip as he turns around making my eyes widen.

The light blue skinny jeans he wore were tightly gripping at his nicely shaped ass. I wanted him. Now. Why did this kid have to be so attractive? By the time I finished that thought Eren walked out the door.

Dammit... Eren..

I run my fingers though my hair and take another sip of my tea. Am I really falling for that kid? He was just a random sloppy kid I happened to meet in the forest. And even if we were to get into a relationship... He would've found out what kind of a monster I am.

My birthday was in a couple months. Once I turn 21 I'll stop aging and stay that way for eternity. How would I explain that? I would also have to take the throne for my clan. Many different thoughts rush through my head until I remember: the mission.

I still had to hunt down the Shapeshifters and capture one for that witch. Nothing so far. My senses still haven't been working. I wince at the thought of having to drink animal blood again.

Maybe I'll start feeding on the villagers and find some high quality..

I didn't like the idea but I guess I had to do it for the mission.

Petra's POV

"Hello there, princess!" I turn around and find Hanji waving at me.

"Good evening." I say as she stares at me curiously.

"What are you doing here in the library?"

"Just sorting out some of the books. I was getting kinda bored in my room and Oluo wouldn't let me go outside."

"Oh, I see.." She trails off at the end as her eyes search the room looking for something interesting to do.

"Hanji..?"

"Oh! Princess! Where did you get this pendant?!" She asks pointing at my ruby pendant on my chest.

"I-It was a gift."

"Wow, it's so sparkly! That's a ruby right? How nice.. Who gave it to you?"

"A friend I met in town.." I look away from her and continue stacking books.

"A friend from town, eh? Who is it?" She says with a smug smile. I give her a half-smile as she scooted closer to me.

"Eren. He's a young boy I met on the way to the castle." Once I said his name, I started to smile.

"A young boy, huh?" She pokes my arm. "Hey, princess, you don't possibly like this "Eren" person do you?"

"E-eh?! N-no way! We're just friends that's all!"

"Really? Then why are your cheeks all pink?"

"T-they're not!"

"Haha! I'm just teasing, princess! Anyways, this guy seems to be a really nice guy. You should take me to meet him someday."

"Y-yeah."

"Don't worry." She leans in to whisper in my ear. "I won't tell Levi."

"This has nothing to do with Levi!"

"Yes it does! After all, he is your betrothed."

As Hanji continued to laugh out loud, I continued stacking books and sighed. It's true though.. I shouldn't tell Levi. Not because he was my betrothed but because Eren was a human. Who knows what would happen if Levi found out and told the Fuher.

Hello! Sorry about the crappy update. I know it's really short and I'm really sorry about that! Starting school has just been really stressful for me.
