This Sunday morning I was awaken by my mom and Michelle. Apparently my mom is religious now? So I was awaken to go to her Christian church.
I always believed there was a God but never necessarily chose what religion I was if that makes sense.
I was now in my mom new boyfriend car and Michelle just grabbed my hand looking up at me for answers and I just shrug. She sighs and sits correctly in her seat looking out her window.
I then see I got a text from Alison on snap.

Allisonbebe 💘💍: care to tell me why A blowing my phone up??
Me: who's A?
Allisonbebe 💘💍: Alejandro 🙄
Me: oh I'll explain later gtg I'm in church
I then feel my phone constantly buzz and I carry Michy out the car.
We were now seated and I feel eyes on me but I don't look anywhere but at the preacher. Michy constantly moved and asked to go to the bathroom and I'd get annoyed because I actually got into what they were saying.
My mom and her boyfriend then went off to talk to friends and me and Michy were told to wait for them outside. I then walk with Michy hand in hand and soon feel a tapp on my shoulder.
"Um how old are you" a boy and girl ask.
"Seventeen why" I ask confused pulling Michy back next to me by her hand.
"Oh so we have this youth hang out tonight, you should totally come" the girl smiles huge.
"Actually I don't think I ca-"
"She'd love to right Dani" my mom interrupts me and I nod taking the flyer.
The car ride was silent while the rest talked.

Allisonbebe 💘💍: you better not stop texting just yet!!!

Me: he trying to make me the side and I'm not gonna be that
Me: mom religious now ig
4 hours later
It was now about 4'o clock and I was dressed in some adidas sweats and a white tee. I didn't want to go to the hang out but from all the yelling me and my mom did I just went. Why? I didn't want to make Michy cry, she seemed scared.
The girl Kathy was going to pick me up and I stood outside my house awkwardly as people passed staring. I then see a little car pull up and I assume it's her and I was right.
"Hey" I smile hopping in the front beside her.
"How's living here" she ask looking around my neighborhood.
"What the fuck I don't know what you want me to say" I laugh and she shrugs turning bright red.
"Where we going" I ask
"The back of the church" she says and the rest of the ride it's oddly quiet.
I felt nervous because I just knew I was gonna feel so out of place. If I couldn't get along with her, what made me think I can get along with the rest??
I then walk in the back lil garage looking place to see about six teens laying around laughing.
"You guys this is Dani" Kathy introduces me.
"Daniella" I correct and they wave and I sit slowly catching everyone staring.
I watched them as they all played cards and laughed together. I just sat and drank coke while they played uno.
"Wassuppppp" I hear a loud yell and I turn to see this dude who's dapping everyone up.
He soon stops in front of me, "who's this" he ask looking around for answers.
"Dani" I smile extending my hand.
"I knew I ain't know you, I would of remembered" he chuckles
"Haven't heard that" I sarcastically say I then laughed along with him.
"Sheesh I vibe witchu" he then crashes beside me as I laugh at his goofy smile.
"You ain't gonna play uno" he ask
"Nah I'm cool"
"Cuz you know you finna get beat" he laughs
"Ight Ight I'm playing" I sigh scooting my chair in.
After two rounds I angrily through the cards in the middle.
"ITS NOT FAI-"
"UH UH UH I WONNN" the guy yells causing us to all laugh.
I saw he got along with everyone but how? Everyone here seemed so 'fancy' and fake.
"So what's your name" I ask
"Oh I literally did not introduce myself huh" he laughs lightly and I shake my head no.
"Well I'm Trey and I'm actually the leader of like the youth and all" he says catching me by surprise.
"Your lying" I say shook and he looks at me nodding seriously. Well this was unexpected.
He then grabs a mic and starts giving a nice speech and lets us know it'll be over soon and we should start helping clean. I then see some people leaving without helping and I frown. I know they heard him!
"Yo yo y'all ain't hear him stay and help befo y'all leave" I say loud and clear and some turn looking embarrassed and come back.
"Thanks your gonna be a lot of help" he nudged my shoulder and walks away.

That kept repeating in my head as Iayed in my bed. Was he expecting me to come more than this one time?
