Unexpected Surprise (Skyelo) ch 7~At The Quartermaine Mansion~Alan and Lorenzo were talking. "Skye has been hurt in the past, and I don't want anyone to hurt her again. I thought Jax was good for my daughter, but it turned out to be a big mistake. You better not hurt Skye. I do love her as my daughter; I don't care about DNA," Alan said. "I know you love Skye. I love her too, and I will keep her and this baby safe," Lorenzo replied. "You better not let your life choices affect Skye or the baby," Alan warned. "I will make sure no one hurts Skye and the baby. I've always wanted a family of my own," Lorenzo assured. "I hope you'll truly protect Skye and the baby," Alan said as Edward entered. "Father, you're back from your vacation," Alan greeted. "Yes, I am. Did you just say that Skye is pregnant?" Edward asked. "Yes, Skye and I are going to have a baby," Lorenzo confirmed. "You better keep that child safe. Where is Skye?" Edward inquired. "Skye is at my house. She will be staying there with me," Lorenzo responded. "I don't think so. Skye and the baby belong in this house," Edward stated. "The baby is mine," Lorenzo declared and then left. "Alan, what is it?" Edward asked. "Oh, father, I found out who Skye's father is. She's not a Quartermaine; my child with Rae is dead," Alan revealed. "I'm sorry. Who is Skye's father?" Edward pressed. "I haven't told Skye yet. We're going to wait until after she has the baby. Skye is a Cassadine," Alan explained. "Wow," Edward said. "Yes, she's the real Kristina. The woman we thought was her was a fake, the one who was killed," Alan added. "Skye can still be part of this family and her baby," Edward asserted. "Thank you, father," Alan said.

At Alexis's house~ Alexis was looking at a picture of her and the fake Kristina when there was a knock on the door— it was Rae. "Rae Cummings," Alexis said. "Alexis Davis, I would like to talk to you," Rae replied. "Come in," Alexis offered. Rae entered the house. "You know about Skye, don't you?" Rae asked. "Yes, I do. When did you find out?" Alexis inquired. "When Tracy blackmailed me, claiming Skye wasn't Alan's. I knew my secret was about to come out, but I didn't want to face the fact that the child I'd been searching for—moving from town to town to find—was dead. So I lied to Skye, telling her Alan wasn't her father, but I kept the lie that I was her mother. Skye and I had a hard time getting close, and now we are, and she's having a baby," Rae explained. "Rae, I understand you don't want to face that your baby died; it was painful. But Skye has the right to know who she is," Alexis said. "Skye can't have any stress right now. Please just leave this alone," Rae pleaded. There was a knock— it was Alan. "Alan, come in. Rae is here too," Alexis said. Alan entered. "Rae," Alan greeted. "Alan," Rae responded. "Rae, Alan knows about Skye," Alexis announced. "Yes, I do, and I want to wait until after Skye has her baby. Alexis, Skye wants this baby very much, and we need to keep her stress-free," Alan explained. "Alright, for now I will keep quiet," Rae agreed. "Thank you," Alan said. "I would never hurt a child. That baby is my family," Alexis asserted. "I know. Rae, let's go and talk," Alan suggested. Alan and Rae left.

At Lorenzo's house~ Skye was in the baby room, pulling clothes from a shopping bag when Lorenzo entered. "Skye," Lorenzo greeted. "I really want this baby, and I will do whatever it takes to keep him or her safe," Skye said. "I want that too," Lorenzo replied. "Thank you for bringing my mother to town. Rae and I had a hard time getting along, and I'm glad we're getting close. I need my mother," Skye expressed. "You're welcome. Rae is welcome to stay here," Lorenzo said. "I told Rae she could too. Lorenzo, I want to have a family with you," Skye said, kissing him. "I want that too," Lorenzo agreed. They went downstairs. "You can move into my room if you want," Lorenzo offered. "I want that," Skye responded. "Good," Lorenzo said. A bodyguard tried to stop Edward from coming in— Lorenzo told him, "Let him go." "Grandfather, what are you doing here?" Skye asked. "I heard about your baby, Skye. Come back to the house. We can take care of this new Quartermaine. I love you, Skye. You're a Quartermaine," Edward said. "I know I'm a Quartermaine—a true one. Tracy switched the DNA test, but my family is with Lorenzo," Skye replied. "Skye," Edward said. "I want to live here, but this baby will be a Quartermaine too," Skye insisted. "Good—if you want, you're welcome back at ELQ too," Edward offered. "Thank you, but maybe after the baby is born," Skye said. "Sure. He better keep you and the baby safe," Edward said. "He will," Skye assured. Edward left. "Skye," Lorenzo called. "I always wanted Edward's love, and I just got it. I know the Quartermaines are crazy and not perfect, but they're mine," Skye said. "Yes, they are," Lorenzo agreed. He was feeling guilty about Skye being a Cassadine.
