Unexpected Surprise, chapter 40 (Skyelo)
At Bobbie's house—Bobbie was getting ready to leave for work when she opened the door to find someone on her doorstep. "Barbara Jean," Luke said. "Luke, you're back! Thank God, I need you," Bobbie replied as they went inside.
"What is it?" Luke asked.
"Carly and Morgan left town with Sonny. I just miss my family. Lucas is away at school," Bobbie explained.
"I get that, but you're okay," Luke said.
"Just lonely. So, how long will you stay in town?" Bobbie asked.
"For a while. Why did Sonny and Carly leave town?" Luke asked.
"They wanted a fresh start. Sonny didn't want to be in the mob anymore, and Carly didn't have her hotel. Skye stole it from her," Bobbie said.
"Wow," Luke said.
"I know you are friends with Skye, but I wish she hadn't done that to Carly," Bobbie responded.
"Even if Skye never stole the hotel, Carly would have left town to be anywhere with Sonny," Luke replied.
"True. I just miss her," Bobbie admitted.
"I know," Luke said.
"I was on my way to work, but I could call in," Bobbie offered.
"No, it's okay," Luke replied.
"Alright, but I want you to stay here," Bobbie insisted.
"Sure, I will crash here," Luke agreed.
Bobbie touched Luke's arm. "I miss my big brother," she said.
"I miss my little sister," Luke replied.
At Skye and Lorenzo's—Skye was downstairs putting on her earrings when Lorenzo entered.
"What time is your doctor's appointment?" Lorenzo asked.
"Soon. I want the twins to be healthy, but I get sick of seeing Dr. Kelly," Skye answered.
"I know," Lorenzo said.
"What if this was the last time I could have a baby? Would you be okay with it?" Skye asked.
"Yes,Skye, I will be fine with it," Lorenzo replied, kissing her.
"Thank you," Skye said.
"I don't want you to risk your health for a child," Lorenzo said.
"I know," Skye answered. They left for the hospital.
At General Hospital—Rae was at the nurse's station looking at a file when Alan and Monica entered, holding hands and happy.
"Last night was great," Monica said.
"Yes, it was," Alan agreed, sharing a kiss as Rae looked on.
"I guess it's time to work," Monica said.
"Yes, tonight is the hotel opening," Alan added.
"Yes, it is," Monica said as Skye and Lorenzo entered.
"Skye, are you okay?" Alan asked.
"Yes, I just have a check-up," Skye replied.
"Oh," Alan said.
"I hope you both come to the hotel opening tonight," Skye said.
"Of course, we will be there," Alan assured her.
"Good," Skye responded.
"Skye, let's go," Lorenzo said, taking her hand as they walked to Dr. Kelly's office.
"I hate to admit this, but Lorenzo loves Skye. Does he?" Alan asked.
"Yes, I believe he loves Skye more than Jax did," Monica responded.
"I just hope Lorenzo's lifestyle doesn't hurt Skye and the children," Alan expressed.
"Me too. Did you see AJ last night?" Monica asked.
"No, not this morning either. I hope he's okay," Alan replied.
"Me too," Monica said.
