Unexpected Surprise Chapter 32 (Skyelo)
at Pine Valley—at Adam's house—Brook, Hailee, Colby, Adam Jr., Rae, JR, Stuart, and Scotty were downstairs having coffee. "So, now we just have the reading tomorrow," Colby said. "Yes, tomorrow at ten," JR replied. "Yes," Brook agreed. "Brook, we've been talking—Colby and I. This house is yours. You stay here with Dad most of the time," JR added. "Oh, JR, I do love this house, but I'm not kicking any of you out. We're still a family," Brook said. "Thank you," JR replied. "You're welcome. Adam loved when this house was full of family," Brook said. "Yes, he did," Hailee echoed. "Yes," Brook agreed. "Do you know where Skye is?" Rae asked. "I think Skye went upstairs," Hailee responded.

In Adam's room, Skye entered and looked at the bed, touching the sheets. She turned to the box Adam told her about and picked it up. "What is in this box, Adam?" Skye asked. She opened it and pulled out some childhood memories—a picture of her as a baby, an old toy, and a piece of paper. Skye pulled out the paper, about to read it when Rae came in. "Skye, are you okay?" Rae asked. "Adam left me this box. It's all memories of my childhood. I didn't know Adam kept it," Skye said. "Me either," Rae responded. Skye put the paper back in the box. "Skye," Rae said. "I don't feel well," Skye replied, handing Rae the box and running into the bathroom to throw up. Rae set the box down and followed her into the bathroom, gently pulling Skye's hair back. "Skye, I think we should take you to the hospital," Rae suggested. "I will be fine," Skye said, finishing and flushing the toilet before washing her face. "Skye, Lorenzo would be upset with me if anything happened to you and the twins on my watch," Rae added. "Alright," Skye agreed. Skye and Rae went downstairs. "Skye, are you okay?" Brook asked. "No, I need to go to the hospital," Skye said. "Is it the baby?" Brook asked. "Yes, I have what is called Hyperemesis Gravidarum. It's beyond morning sickness, and I just keep throwing up. Mother thinks I should see a doctor," Skye explained. "You don't want to risk the baby, Skye," Hailee advised. "I know," Skye responded. They left.

In Port Charles, at the pier, Michael and AJ were there. "So, son, this is where we'll put the restaurant. I was thinking maybe a hotel too. There's a lot we can do here," AJ said. "Yes, we could put some shops in the name of Great-Grandmother," Michael suggested. "I like that. Great-Grandmother loved you," AJ said. "I wish I knew her. AJ, to get to know you—I want to let go of the past, what happened when I was a little boy. Sonny and Carly are gone. It's time to move on," Michael said. "Alright, I can let it go for you, son," AJ replied. "Thanks," Michael responded.
