Unexpected Surprise, Chapter 22 (Skyelo) ~ "The Return of AJ Quartermaine"
At the Quartermaine Mansion — Ned, Michael, Edward, Tracy, and Emily are there. "So who called this meeting?" Tracy asks. "It wasn't me," Ned says. "Or me," Emily adds. "Me neither," Michael states as Lorenzo and Skye arrive.
"Why are you here?" Tracy asks. "Daddy called me to meet him here," Skye explains. "So it was Alan. What is he up to? Where is Monica?" Tracy inquires. "I don't know," Emily responds as Monica and Alan enter.
"What are you up to?" Tracy asks. "We have some news. When AJ came back to town with Michael," Alan begins.
"You mean when he kidnapped Michael," Ned interrupts.
"His own son, yes," Tracy confirms.
"Anyway, AJ would have gone to jail after the fall surgery, and I didn't want my son to go to jail. Michael, I know you love Sonny, but he would have killed AJ," Monica says.
"Yes, he would have. I'm not blind when it comes to Sonny's line of work," Michael admits.
"Good," Monica approves.
"Why are we talking about AJ now?" Edward asks.
"I did what I had to do to keep my son safe. Not even Alan knows. AJ is alive and on his way home," Monica reveals.
"AJ alive!" Skye yells.
"Yes," Alan confirms.
"You faked his death," Tracy accuses.
"Yes, I did what any mother would do," Monica responds.
"What about the changers?" Tracy inquires.
"The changers are gone," Alan states.
"What did you have to do to make that happen?" Tracy presses.
"If you want to stay with us, you will leave my son alone," Monica demands.
"AJ alive," Michael repeats.
"Michael, are you okay?" Skye asks.
"Yes, I've been wanting to know my father," Michael responds.
"Good," AJ says as he enters and walks past Michael.
"Michael, I'm so glad to finally be here with you. I want to get to know you and make up for all that we lost," AJ states.
"I want that too, Dad," Michael replies with a hug.
"AJ," Skye says.
"Skye, I'm glad to see you. My best friend," AJ greets.
"I'm so glad you're alive. I need my brother. I'm having a baby—twins," Skye shares.
"Congrats. I know this is what you wanted," AJ responds.
"Yes, it is," Skye confirms.
"Is Jax the father?" AJ asks.
"No, it's Lorenzo Alcazar, my fiancé," Skye answers.
"Fiancé?" Alan questions.
"Yes, Daddy. Lorenzo and I are going to get married," Skye says.
"Congrats," Alan responds.
"So AJ, are you here to steal money or ELQ from me?" Edward asks.
"No, Grandfather. All I care about is my son," AJ states.
"You better leave ELQ alone," Tracy warns.
"Tracy, back off," Alan intervenes.
"Junior, you're really back," Ned remarks.
"Yes, I am. It's always nice to see you," AJ replies.
"AJ," Emily says.
"Look, I know I screwed up last time, but this is my second chance," AJ admits.
"Yes, it is. You will not mess it up," Monica affirms.
"No," AJ agrees.
Skye approaches AJ.
"AJ, it's a long story, but I owe Jax and Carly a hotel now. I could use your help with it. I need to stay away from stress, and I'd love my brother to help," Skye explains.
"I would love that," AJ says.
"Good," Skye responds.
"Lorenzo, you better treat my sister right," AJ warns.
"I will," Lorenzo promises.
"Good," AJ concludes.
