Unexpected Surprise, Chapter 41 (Skyelo)~
At General Hospital, in Dr. Kelly's office, Skye was lying on the bed while Dr. Kelly looked at her as Lorenzo held her hand. "So far, the twins are fine. If you want to know the sex, I can tell you," Dr. Kelly said. "We haven't discussed that," Lorenzo replied. "I want to know, Lorenzo," Skye said. "Sure, we still haven't painted the nursery yet," Lorenzo added. "No, it's still just white on the walls," Skye said. "Alright, let's find out," Dr. Kelly said and did an ultrasound. "You're having twin girls," she announced. "Two girls?" Lorenzo was shocke, "Oh, two little girls, are they okay?" Skye asked. "Yes, Skye, so far your pregnancy is doing well," Dr. Kelly reassured her. "Thank you. Is this the only time I could have a baby?" Skye asked. "I'm not sure. It depends on the delivery, but given your health issues, your pregnancy is progressing well. You've been taking care of your daughters," Dr. Kelly explained. "Maybe I can do this after all," Skye said. "We both can," Lorenzo replied. "I'll let you both talk," Dr. Kelly said, then left.
"So, two little girls. Lorenzo, are you okay with that?" Skye asked. "Yes, I am," Lorenzo said, sitting on Skye's bed. "I've been thinking about what kind of father you'll be," Skye remarked. "What kind will I be?" Lorenzo asked. "Overprotective—and now that we're having two girls, I have a feeling you're going to spoil them," Skye said. "Why not? We have the means. Skye, I won't let anything happen to you and our daughters," Lorenzo assured her. "I know," Skye replied. "Let's get you dressed," Lorenzo said, helping Skye get ready.
At the Nurse Station, Alan was working on a chart when Rae approached. "Alan," Rae said. "Rae, how's it going working here?" Alan asked. "Great. Thank you for helping me get my license back," Rae replied. "I did it for Skye. She needs you here for now," Alan said. "I've been thinking—let's just keep this a secret forever," Rae confessed. "Rae, I want to, but it's going to come out," Alan replied as Skye and Lorenzo entered. "What is going to come out? Are you both hiding something?" Skye asked. "No, Alan was the one who helped me get my license back," Rae explained. "Oh, that's nice of you, Dad," Skye said. "I did it for you. You need Rae," Alan said. "Yes, I do," Skye agreed. "How are the twins?" Rae asked. "Great. We're having girls," Skye answered. "Twin girls? That's fantastic news," Alan said. "Yes, it is," Rae agreed. "Thank you," Skye said as Bobbie came over. "Skye, I do hope you're happy. You're the reason Carly left town. If you never stole the hotel, my daughter would still be here," Bobbie said. "Lay off, Skye," Lorenzo said. "No, it's okay. Bobbie, I know you're upset, but Carly would follow Sonny anywhere. She loves him more than anyone in your family. It's not my fault she left town," Skye responded. "You're all happy that Carly and Sonny are gone and AJ is back in town, spending time with Michael," Bobbie accused. "AJ has a right to his son. It's Sonny's fault that Michael was shot and is in a coma. You know that, Bobbie. Lay off my family," Alan said. Bobbie left.
"Dad, are you okay?" Skye asked. "Yes, I'm fine," Alan replied, and they shared a hug. "I should go to the hotel to get it ready for tonight," Skye said. "Yes, it's going to be a hit. You haven't heard from AJ, have you?" Alan asked. "Why?" Skye wondered. "I haven't heard from him since last night," Alan said. "Really?" Skye asked, feeling happy. "What?" Alan asked. "I kind of set AJ up on a date," Skye admitted. "With whom?" Alan questioned. "Kate Howard," Skye revealed. "Skye, don't push it," Alan said. "I won't. I just want my brother to be happy," Skye insisted. "Let's go," Lorenzo said. Skye and Lorenzo left.
In the Medical Chart Room, Bobbie was putting away a chart when she noticed Skye's chart and the paternity test results. She read it and exclaimed, "Oh my God, Skye, a Cassadine!" and then left.
