Unexpected Surprise Chapter 33 (Skyelo)
At Pine Valley Hospital—Skye was brought in with Rae, Hailee, Brook, JR, Colby, Stuart, and Adam Jr. "Angie, I need you to look at Skye. She's pregnant and has Hyperemesis Gravidarum, and she threw up a few minutes ago," Brook said. "Hello, Angie," Skye greeted. "Skye, let's look at you," Angie replied.
She took Skye to a room and helped her sit on the bed. "So I bet you never thought you'd see me pregnant," Skye said.
"True," Angie nodded.
"Dr. Kelly Lee is my doctor. She says I have placental abruption, and it's twins," Skye added.
"I'm not surprised you have it, Skye, because of the accident," Angie said.
"Yes, you were my doctor then. Do you think the twins are okay?" Skye asked.
They did an ultrasound on the twins. "So far, the twins are fine. Skye, you just need to take it easy, and you can have them healthy," Angie reassured her.
"I keep thinking I don't deserve it, not after everything I've done in my life," Skye confessed.
"Skye, I'm sure you're not the same person you were then," Angie said.
"We haven't seen each other since now. Why would you think that?" Skye asked.
"Because everyone sure does get a second chance in life," Angie replied.
"True. I heard Jess is back. I'm happy for both of you," Skye said.
"Thanks. I'm sorry about Adam," Angie responded.
"Thank you. Can I go back to Port Charles today?" Skye asked.
"I think it's best if you stay overnight and go home in the morning. You didn't fly, did you?" Angie inquired.
"No, we drove," Skye answered.
"Good. I don't think you should fly until the twins are here. I'll get you hooked up to an IV," Angie said.
"Thank you," Skye responded. Angie left.

Rae, Hailee, Brook, JR, Colby, Stuart, and Adam Jr. were waiting for news about Skye.
"Thank you for letting Skye be part of saying goodbye to Adam. It meant a lot to her," Rae said.
"Skye's family still, no matter what DNA says," Brook added.
"I was shocked when it came out that Skye wasn't a Chandler. I remember the story Adam told me about Skye—she was a true Chandler, that's for sure," JR said.
"True," Hailee agreed.
Brook looked at Rae as Angie came in.
"Skye is okay. I hooked her up to an IV, but she can't go home till tomorrow," Angie explained.
"Thank you. Can I see my daughter?" Rae asked.
"Yes, go ahead," Angie replied.
Rae left.
"Thank you, Angie," Brook said.
"You're welcome. I'm sorry about Adam. If you need anything," Angie offered.
"Thanks. I knew it was coming, so I've made peace with it, but I'm going to miss Adam," Brook said.

In Skye's room—Skye was in bed, hooked up to an IV, when Rae entered.
"Mother, can I use your phone? I need to call Lorenzo," Skye asked.
"Sure," Rae replied. She handed Skye her phone, and Skye called Lorenzo.
"Lorenzo, I had some morning sickness, so I have to stay in the hospital till morning. No, I will be okay," Skye said and hung up.
"How did Lorenzo take it?" Rae asked.
"Okay. He wanted to come here, but I will be fine, and the twins," Skye responded.
"Yes, you will," Rae agreed, sitting on the bed.
"Mother, I've been thinking—after the twins are born, if you want to stay in the house with Lorenzo and me," Skye said.
"Are you sure?" Rae asked.
"Yes. I need you, and my twins need their grandmother," Skye said.
"Sure, I would love to. I'll get you some ice chips," Rae smiled and left, leaning on the door as she cried. Brook came by.
"Rae, is Skye okay?" Brook asked.
"Yes, Skye's fine," Rae replied.
"Then why are you crying?" Brook pressed.
"Skye and I had a long way to go in our relationship, and I don't want to lose it," Rae admitted.
"You won't lose it. I've known Skye for a long time. All the things she's done were because she wanted to be loved," Brook said.
"Yes, and now Skye has it," Rae said.
"Yes," Brook agreed.
