Unexpected Surprise Chapter 30: At Pine Valley Outside, Skye and Rae were walking. "Skye, what is it?" Rae asked. "I'm just glad I came to town. I can't believe Adam is gone. All the time we wasted fighting," Skye said. "I know, but it's good that you and Adam made peace," Rae replied. "Yes, it is. I did miss Adam and this town," Skye said. "I'm sure you did," Rae responded. "Do you want to visit Myra's grave?" Skye asked. "Yes, why not," Rae said. While they were walking, they ran into Erica. "Skye, Rae," Erica greeted. "Erica, it's good to see you," Skye said. 'You too. Why are you in town?" Erica asked. "Adam, I want to see him before he passes," Skye replied. "Adam's gone?" Erica asked. "Yes," Skye confirmed. "I'm sorry," Erica said. "Thank you. I know you cared for him," Skye responded. "It was fun being married to him, but I wasn't the woman he loved. It was Brook. It was always her," Erica revealed. "Yes, it was," Skye agreed. "Congrats on the baby. I'm sorry about your loss," Erica said. "Thank you," Skye responded. Skye and Rae then left.

At Adam's house, in Adam's room, Brook was there. His body had already been taken to the hospital. Brook picked up the sheets and smelled them. "Oh Adam, I'm going to miss you. I love you," Brook whispered as Stuart entered. "Stuart," Brook greeted. "What are we going to do without him?" Stuart asked. "I don't know. I need your help planning the funeral," Brook said. "I want to help. I just don't know how to do this," Stuart admitted. "I know, me neither," Brook replied. They went downstairs and poured a glass of water. "Stuart, I know it's going to be hard, but we can do this," Brook said. "Yes, we can. Somehow," Stuart agreed. As Skye and Rae returned, Stuart took Skye's hand. "Skye, I'm so glad you're here and that you and Adam made peace," Stuart said. "I'm glad too. I wish I was still a Chandler. I miss you," Skye said. "I will always be your uncle. So, how's the baby?" Stuart asked. "Good. I'm having twins. I just have to stay away from stress," Skye replied. "Good, I'm glad you're finally having the family you've wanted," Stuart said. "Me too. I finally found the man who loves me for who I am," Skye said. "Good. I would like to meet him," Stuart said. "I want you and this family at our wedding," Skye added. "I would like that," Stuart responded. "Stuart, I need a painting for the nursery. I would love for you to paint it," Skye requested. "I would love to," Stuart agreed. "You're not alone," Skye said. "Neither are you," Stuart replied. "You two have a special bond," Rae said. "I was the one who gave Skye her nickname, remember?" Stuart asked. "Yes, I do. I always hated my real name," Skye admitted. Skye then kissed Stuart as Colby, Hailee, and JR entered. "I guess we need to plan Adam's funeral," Hailee said. "I guess," Brook agreed. "Thank you, Hailee, for coming to Port Charles," Skye said. "You're welcome. I'm glad you came," Hailee replied. Erica then entered. "Erica, why are you here?" Brook asked. "I just came to say I'm sorry. Brook, you're the woman he loved. Not any of his ex-wives. It was always you. You're Adam's soulmate," Erica said. "Thank you," Brook responded. "You're welcome. If you need anything," Erica offered. "We're just planning the funeral," JR said. Erica then left.
