23: Awake.

My eyes slowly flutter open as the sun invaded them I groan as I try to lift my arm but an intense pain shoots up my ribs I cry out and put my arm down the door Burt's open as Joesph face comes into sight he runs to my side and touched the side of my face "can you close the blinds it's too bright" I manage to croak our feeling the dryness in my throat, hurriedly he gets up and closes the blinds a little bit before scurrying back to me and getting me a glass of water

"What the hell happen?" I manage to get out Joesph looks at me with sympathy and sighs before he tells me the story of what happened

"Well you got kidnapped by the Russians, broke a couple ribs as well as you have had stitches in your legs and arms" Joesph added my eyes widen in panic I slowly start remember what happened that day it all comes flooding back tears start flowing out of my eyes as I remember what happened Joesph gets up and moves onto the hospital bed and puts my head on his chest as he rubs my back while I cry.

We both ended up falling asleep. I wake up to the feeling of weight on my back I groan and try to roll over but Joesph arms is tight around my back I decide to lay there until he wakes up and maybe I'll fall asleep again.

I end up falling asleep for another hour before someone opens the door a doctor comes through and kindly smiles at me smiling back I start poking Joesph to get him to wake up

"What" He huskily groans my stomach coats in butterflies as I hear his morning voice "the doctor is here" I whisper out he finally lets me go and gets of the bed before siting in the chair he runs his hands through his hair before rubbing his eyes and starts paying attention to the doctor

"Alright so I'm assuming this gentleman here explained what your injuries are but you'll just inform you have Two broken ribs as well as stitches on your legs and arms as you had knife injuries which I won't be asking about" he quickly adds in as his eyes shift to Joesph I nod my head and tell him thank you he nods his head and leaves the room

"When can I go home?" I turn to Joesph and ask him "you'll be able to go home this afternoon but you're on bed rest no leaving your room got it?" He says in an authoritative voice I nod my head and roll my eyes "don't you roll your eyes at me little girl"I just groan and roll over in response being careful of my ribs.

After a couple hours we finally get the papers that sign me out Joesph quickly fills them out and we both sign it before he stomps to the front desk and shoves it onto the desk where a nurse widens her eyes and quickly takes the paper putting it into the machine. He grabs a wheel chair and lifts me into I squeal in surprise but smile at him I put my feet on the holders and we make our way back to Joesph black Range Rover he slowly lifts me into the passenger seat and leans over his hot breath fanning my neck my breathe hitches as he grabs the seat belt and clicks it into place I blow out a breathe once he's walking around to his side of the car.

We make our way home with a couple guards riding behind us.

Once we arrive I decline Joesphs offer to carry me up too my room I manage to walk to my room before I close the door I quietly whisper a thank you to Joesph he smiles and nods his head, I slowly make my way to the bed where I lay down I stare at the ceiling until my eyes begin to droop.

Hey guys so I apologise for the short chapter my dog hasn't been feeling well so I had to take her to the vets so she could get checked, they did and ultrasound on her and found something in her intestines so they've had to do surgery and have found a little tumour there so they are removing it  know and hopefully it's not cancer and hopefully she makes it through the surgery.
