Sage's POV

"Are my two princesses ready?" I ask my 3 year old daughters when I get to their room.

"Yes Mommy." Luna says.

"Otay Mommy." Paris says.

"Good." I say then squat down. "Now give Mommy some love." Paris and Luna run over to me and hug me and kiss my cheeks.

Today Mal is being recognized for her 100th cap for the national team and the game is at FedEx Field. They're doing a little ceremony before the game and Mal told us she wanted us in her jersey. I didn't want the girls to get jealous that one of them is in Mama's home jersey while the other is in Mama's away jersey so we are all wearing the home jersey which, to my surprise, Mal put Lloyd-Pugh on the back after we got married. I thought she would leave it as Pugh for branding reasons, but she told me there was no way she wasn't having our last name on her jersey.

"Who do you think that is?" I ask when the door bell rings.

"Ice cream man?" Paris says.

"Pizza man?" Luna says.

"Well why don't we go see." I say and the two girls run down the stairs and to the door and try to open it. "Girls...you know the rules."

"Never open the door without Mommy or Mama." They say in unison.

"Very good." I open the door and step to the side allowing the girls to see who is on the other side.

"MIMI AND GIGI" They yell, once again, in unison and run at their grandmothers. Those are their names for Mom and Mama, aka Chrissy. Mom is Mimi and Chrissy is Gigi. I don't know how those names came about, but they did.

Mama retired after her wedding to Mom and they decided to stay close to us so they could be around their grandkids. Mal's parents are going to wait until they can retire then move up here since both Mal and her sister live up here. I'm very happy that my girls get to have their grandparents around and I'm extremely happy that my Mom's are staying close to me.

"There's my two favorite 3 year olds." Mom says then she squats down and the girls hug her.

"Hey Mama." I say and hug her.

"Hi Sweetie." Mama says then her and Mom swap.

"Hi Mom." I say and tightly hug her.

"Hi Baby." Mom says then looks at her granddaughters. "You girls ready to go watch your Mama?"

"YEAH" They both yell.

"Alright girls go to the car." I say and they both take off to the garage. Mom and Mama follow them and I close and lock the front door. After that's done I go to the garage and see Luna buckled up in her car seat while Mom is in the middle of the back seat helping Paris buckle into her seat and Mama is sitting in the front passenger seat.

Once everyone is buckled in we start the 45 minute drive from our house to the stadium.

"So how's my little brother or sister?" I ask.

"They're doing good. We find out the gender at the next appointment." Mama says. She's 14 weeks pregnant.

"That's good...I still can't believe my kids are going to be going to school with my brother or sister."

"That is a bit odd."

"At least they'll have two people to look out for them...Oh hey we still have Paris and Luna's baby stuff if you guys want to use that instead of going and buying stuff."

"That'd be great Sage." Mama says.

"How's the record label going?" Mom asks.

I own a record label now which has 5 artists signed to it. I talked with Mal about starting one while I was pregnant, but never got around to doing it. On our one year wedding anniversary Mal surprised me with the paperwork to start the label. The label is called P+L Records which stands for Paris and Luna. Mal suggested the name and I loved it so I stuck with the name. The best thing is I get to work from home so I'm always around my three favorite girls...Oh I also graduated college too.

"It's going good. One of our artist won the Grammy for Best New Artist." I say.

"That's great...Are you going to record anything?"

"I've thought about it, but I don't know if I will."

"Come on Sage you have the voice of an angel." Mama says.

"Paris and Luna would you want your Mommy to have a song on the radio?" Mom asks.

"Yeah." They both say then I see them in the rearview mirror giving me their best puppy dog eyes.

"Not the puppy dog eyes...I'll see what I can do." I say.

The rest of the ride is filled with talking between Mama and I while Mom keeps the twins occupied. Once at the stadium we park and then go meet Mal.

"MAMA" The twins yell when they see my wife. They then try to run to her, but after they take five steps they stop and wait for Mom, Mama, and I to catch up to them then they each hold one of my hands and we walk over to Mal.

"Okay now you can go." I say once we are about 20 yards away. The twins let go of my hands and run over and attack their Mama with hugs and kisses.

"Oh how I've missed my babies." Mal says and kisses the girls cheeks. The twins then go and hug Mal's family and stand with them and my parents while Mal comes over to me. "And I've really really missed my wife."

"Feeling is very much mutual." I say then kiss her.

"The team wants to see the girls."

"Sounds good." I say then we walk over to everyone. I greet Mal's family then the two of us take the girls into the locker room. Lindsey and Emily, who are the girls favorite aunts on the team, have their backs turned to the door so I squat down and whisper to the girls.

"Go get 'em girls." I say and the twins run to them.

"AUNTIE EMMY...AUNTIE LINDY." They yell and Emily and Lindsey turn around then squat down as the girls crash into them. The twins then go and hug everyone else.

"Come on girls." I say and hold my hands out to the girls. They each put one of their hands in my hand and we walk out and wait in the tunnel.

20 minutes later the team is on the field with Mal as captain and we watch Mal get presented with a jersey and something in a wood box. We are then told to walk on the field and take a picture with Mal's family and us then it's just the four of us.

"Good luck and stay safe baby." I say and kiss my wife.

"I'll try my hardest Sagey." Mal says.

"Score me a goal."

"If I do can I score later tonight?"

"Definitely." I say then kiss Mal again.

The twins and I hug Mal one last time then head to the box I got for the game. Once we get to the box with the rest of the 2019 girls that have retired Paris goes and sits with Tobin and Alex who are now married and are thinking of having children. Luna goes and sits with Ash and Ali who are also married and are expecting. The twins definitely have a favorite couple. Paris loves Talex and Luna Loves Krashlyn.

I go and sit next to Mom, who is in between Mama and I. I don't really pay attention to the game that much. I just lay my head on Mom's shoulder and take everything in. I have the perfect parents, the perfect friends, the perfect wife, and the perfect daughters.

I have the perfect life and it's all because I was Saved By Carli.
