Sage's POV

The NWSL and victory tour have come to an end and Mal and I are now in her apartment where her and I will be staying for the next month.

"So where do you want me to put my stuff?" I ask

"We can put it in the bedroom." Mal says and I follow her into her room. We pack my stuff away then go lay on the couch. Okay I laid on the couch while Mal laid on me while I traced my fingers up and down her back. We laid in silence for a while just enjoying being together.

"Mal" I say breaking the silence.

"Sagey"

"Do you want kids?"

"I want everything with you."

"Really?" I ask and Mal looks at me.

"Yes Sage."

"Fuck I love you."

"I love you too...Now are you hungry?"

"For food? No. For you? Yes." I say and Mal's eyes darken.

"Well let's go satisfy that hunger." Mal says and leads me to the bedroom.

This is going to be a good month.

It's now after Christmas and the month I stayed with Mal was amazing and it made me excited for our future. Mom and I decided to take our girlfriends on a trip for some alone time. Mom and Chrissy are going to the Bahamas while Mal and I are going to Paris. Mal said she wanted to be able to explore Paris more since they were busy winning the World Cup the last time she was here.

The flight into Paris wasn't too bad, but I still can't sleep on flights so I was Mal's pillow. I also watched a couple movies.

"Bonjour. Bienvenue à l'Hôtel The Peninsula Paris. Comment puis-je vous aider?" The check-in lady says.(Hello. Welcome to the The Peninsula Hotel Paris. How may I help you?)

"Bonjour j'ai une réservation sous le nom Lloyd" I say. (Hello I have a reservation under the last name Lloyd)

"Oui. Je vous rester dans la Peninsula Suite pour 7 nuits correcte?"(Yes. I have you staying in the Peninsula Suite for 7 nights correct?)

"Oui"(yes)

"Génial. Voici vos clés. Si vous avez besoin quoi que ce soit ne pas hésiter à demander et profitez de votre séjour."(Great. Here are your keys. If you need anything do not hesitate to ask and enjoy your stay.)

"Je vous remercie."(Thank you.) I say and the lady nods so Mal and I walk to the elevators and head up to our room.

"Holy shit Sage. This place is huge." Mal says when we get to our room.

"Only the best for you."

"Thank you for taking me here Sagey." Mal says and pecks my lips.

"Of course beautiful...why don't we shower and then we can sleep off this jet lag."

"Sounds good. I'll go first so you can call your Mom." I nod and Mal goes into the bathroom while I Facetime my Mom.

"Hey Mom"

"Hi Sage. How was the flight?"

"It was good...How's the view?"

"Perfect" Mom says and she looks beyond her phone, I'm assuming, at Christen.

"Mom are you guys on a private beach?" I noticed nobody was around them

"Yeah we have a private villa."

"Looks like we both went all out for our girlfriends."

"Is your room that big?" Mom asks and I turn the camera around and walk around the room. "Wow that's big." I turn the camera back around.

"Yeah." I say then I see Mom look up and Christen sits in Mom's lap and Mom rest her chin on Christens shoulder.

"Hi Sage."

"Hi Chrissy. How's the Bahamas?"

"Amazing."

"That's good."

"Is Mal around?" Mom asks.

"No she is in the shower."

"Good...you ready for tomorrow?"

"I'm ready to start forever with her, but I'm scared she'll say no."

"Hey don't think like that. You know she will say yes."

"Do you think I'm too young?"

"No. You two are meant for each other." Mom says and a second later Mal comes out in her sleep stuff.

"Well Mal's out of the shower so I'll let you guys go." I say and then we say our goodbyes and I shower then get into bed with Mal in my arms as the little spoon.

The next morning we get up and shower then go for breakfast at a small cafe around the corner. After we eat the two of us walk around and I knowingly lead us to the Trocadéro. Once we get there I stop us to look at the view of the Eiffel Tower from here.

"It's beautiful." Mal says and I wrap my arms around her from behind her.

"Breathtaking" I say and Mal look at me and sees I'm looking at her. She turns around in my arms and pecks my lips. I take this opportunity to get down on one knee and Mal's hand goes to cover her mouth as a tear escapes her eye.

"Mal I know I have a lot of issues, but I know with you by my side I will always be safe. In the time I've known you you have made me stronger. You have taught me what it's like to love. You have taught me how to be confident in myself. Everyday I'm with you I love my self and my body more than the previous day and that's all thanks to the love you show me. I never thought I would meet the love of my life. After the month we spent living together it made me realize that I want to have everything with you. I want to have kids with you. I want to grow old with you. Mal I love you with every fiber of my being and I want to be with you forever..."

"No way."
