Cool Down! (Todoroki Sister¡Reader)

Chapter 1: Birth of the Todoroki Twins

In the morning of January 11, a pregnant woman, named Todoroki Rei, had her water broken. Excruciating pain rushed through the middle-aged woman as her body hit the floor.

Her children, that were present with her, panicked at the sight of her in pain and rushed to call for help. Immediately she was sent to the hospital to give birth to her newborn twins.

Hearing their mothers cries in pain was not a good feeling her children have as they stood outside the emergency room, but knowing that it was now time for them to meet their new siblings they were also excited. Next to them stood the no. 2 heroes, Endeavor. His muscular form looms over the children and the grandmother who stood near them. His turquoise orbs eyed the door with anticipation. He was anxious for the children to be born, he wanted to know what would their quirks be now. But for now, he has to stay patient.

After what seemed to be hours, the doors opened to reveal the surgeon who conducted the operation. Removing his mask from over his lips he beamed in pride and success, looking unusually contented despite the stressful hours. Unlike the previous childbirths of his older children, this one was different.

But before he had a chance to question the doctor invited them in and immediately as the door peaked open, a cool and soothing left the room. Enji's eyes widen. 'Is this it!?' he thought excitedly since none of his previous children gained their quirks right after birth.

Entering the room, he sees Rei, exhausted on the hospital bed, tenderly holding two babies. One on each arm. She had a contented face and it brightens as she watches her children approach her. "Look it's your baby siblings.." She softly spoke. First, to be by her side, Fuyumi leaned close to look over the blankets the babies were given and saw an interesting sight.

One of the babies has two colored hair. Equally split in the middle the red and white contrasted brightly against each other. And coincidentally enough, the twin of the baby had pink hair, the color that would have appeared on the other baby if the two hair colors mixed.

Despite the sight, the girl focused on the chubby faces of the babies and smiled brightly. Before she could say anything her brother jumped in and grinned. "Hello, baby brother and sister! I am your cool big brother, Tōya!" Tōya grinned yelling in protest as his sister pushed him back a bit. "Don't yell, mom is tired!" she reminded.

Pouting at his younger sibling Tōya turned back to his mother and younger siblings and asked. "What are their names?"

Thinking for a little bit, Rei replied with a smile. "Shōtō and (Y/N).."

"Cool! Those are great names, right Natsuo?" Tōya playfully asks waddling to his 4-year-old brother who was with their grandmother. The toddler grinned and jumped in agreement making everyone in the room, but Enji, laugh.

Finally facing the elephant in the room, Rei worriedly looked over to her husband, who glares at the bundles in her hold. With a defeated look she showed him the babies signaling him to take a closer look.

The man looked at the two sleeping forms of the fragile babies, he was trying to figure out which one was emitting such soothing aura as he felt it becoming stronger the closer he got to them. Almost as if the baby knew it was being looked for it squirmed weakly in Rei's hold gesturing towards the red-haired man shocking and worrying a few faces.

With a low gruff the man gingerly took the baby out of the mother's hold and stared at it heatedly. Under its gaze, the baby squirmed more wanting to be held closer. When the man did so the baby started to cry surprising him.

Rei gasped lightly out of worry as she watches Enji's face contort to a frown.

Enji was ready to give the baby back as his ears rang from the sudden loud sound, but he stopped when he realized that the soothing aura was emitting from you!

His face glinted with interest ass he observed that everyone in the room including the nurses watch from the back look relaxed... a bit too relaxed.

"Hiromi..!"

A voice rang out and one of the nurses fell to the ground unconscious all of a sudden. Before anyone can react another fell to the ground, and another and another. Enji's eye widens a fraction, darting around to spot who was the cause of this. Since that the announcement of Rei's pregnancy hit the news accidentally, Enji had been wary of any villains.

But the man didn't have enough time to figure out as he too, was also getting drowsy. By now everyone, including his family, was all unconscious. Everyone, except you.

Your cries continued on, loud and clear but despite the fact that babies cries are one of the most terrible sounds to hear, it was soothing for reason. Lulling the hero to slumber. As a last resort the man, with you securely in his holds, the man barged out of the hospital room with a loud bang alerting the passing nurses. He slumped against the wall, half awake. Looking down at you he inwardly smirks, you were fast asleep, somehow tired after putting everyone else to sleep.

You were quite something.

Because Enji was able to catch the attention of the nurses, the unconscious people in the room were immediately tended to. The people woke up, later that day, somehow stress-free. They all had energy to spare and all the stress that was built.

The doctor went with haste to figure out what happened. Thanks to Enji's assumption of you have been the cause of it. The doctors figured out quickly that it was your quirk that was the cause of the incident. The news of your incident spread like wildfire. The press was all upon it, to the point where some would theorize and speculate

Enji was delighted at first that so many people believed that his newborn has that power at such a young age, but was extremely disappointed when the doctor concluded that was all you can do. So in the end, you weren't the one he expected to be and in a few weeks time, your incident turned into fading rumors.

So he left you alone with your mother and twin brother, deciding to wait until his quirk awakens or yours manifest more.

With weary eyes, Rei cupped your porcelain cheek and pecked your forehead doing the same to Shōtō. "My beautiful children..." She whispered to them gently.

"One day you both may face such hardship and difficult decisions later in life. When that happens, I hope you have each other to hold on to and support."

In reply, you whined and threw your hands around clutching on to your brother who reached for you as well. With a small laugh, Rei tucked you both to sleep and left the nursery. Upon her departure, Shōtō squirmed at the absence of his mother's presence and slowly started to cry.

Hearing your brother's cries you hugged on to his arm tightly and subconsciously activated your famous quirk. The room had a soothing feeling in it. Unlike back at the hospital room, it was gentler and soft. The feeling held on consistently till Shōtō calm down and went to sleep with you following after him.
