Chapter 63: A Dangerous Blonde

"It seems the day is ending." 

Shiozaki noted as the sun position giving a cool afternoon. The group was on their last hour of sightseeing before calling it a day. The study meets ended as scheduled, it wasn't wasted with any mess so everyone got what they needed out of it.

And so, as teens, they decided to look around to see if the convention, which was a tour group on a road trip, was still in the park in the city. Spoiler alert, it was, thus the group decided to look around to see what they could find to have fun with. You all came across this.

"Introducing the puzzle box!" said the man who manages it. 

The said puzzle box was a black box, that is tall enough to fit an adult, that was colored on the inside. Inside you could see many objects and devices attached to the walls of the contraption, the man explained

"Whoever can solve in a full hour will win a prize!" He advertised to the crowd showing off the various items and merchandise by the stand. "If you cannot solve the puzzle in the allotted time, the box will automatically unlock itself and you lose the challenge!"

"Let's do that!" Tokage said intrigued before looking off to Tetsutetsu adding cheekily, "I bet I can solve it faster than you!"

"You're on!"

"Hey, I wanna join in too," You added with bright eyes. So after purchasing a ticket to join at a cheap price, you all lined up.

"3! 2! 1! Time's up!"

Opened the box with a disappointed Awase leaving it. "I was so close! All I had to do was insert the piece and... Ugh!" he cried with a groan, the group laughed at his failed attempt before looking over to themselves.

"Okay, who's next?" Kendo asked, you took this chance to eagerly step forward but before you could say anything, Tokage quickly jumped in cheering. 

"My turn!~"

"What no way it's me!" Tetsutetsu argued loudly causing Tokage to flinch a bit but it was through this action that leads her to bump into you which in turn bump into a certain blonde, who himself bumped into someone who was resetting the puzzle, and in the two of you went.

The force of you two falling into the box had its closing, the problem here was...

"The items you need to solve the puzzle fell out..." Komori nervously laughed as you and Monoma were mushed together in an embarrassingly close distance.

"It looks like you guys have to wait for the hour to finish up!" you could hear the partly muffled conversation from inside. The box must be thick with the contraptions built in its walls.

"Hah!?" Monoma loudly groans causing you to flinch from the volume. It earned a small glance from him but he continued anyway. "Isn't there some sort of fail-safe?!"

"The only fail-safe they have was in the case of fire or wiring malfunction... and they can't afford to damage the box so we have to wait for the hour to finish up." You could hear Awase and the others coaxing the two of you to bear with it, but how can you.

'I'm worried I might have another attack with this guy's loose lip.'

"...He's more dangerous than Katsuki." was what Monoma heard from your lips causing him to raise his brow as he looked down.

"You compare me to that troublemaker of class A?" he asked not sure if he should be complimented to be considered more of a threat than the first year's most violent hero trainee or feel offended that he can't be trusted near than him.
