Chapter 19: Big Brother Natsuo

Night has come upon the long and stressful day. It almost felt like the day was stretching for chapters and chapters in a book.

This didn't put to rest since you really wanted to end the day and get over it.

For the first time, you actually wanted to go to school and be separated from your brother as to not anger him more. Now dressed in a large shirt and home shorts you trudged to the kitchen in hopes to eat before your brother so you can sleep.

Since, well... You both share a room.

"What do I eat?" You mumble to yourself as you wander around the kitchen. "Hmm... There aren't any instant kinds of stuff brother Natsuo eats in here..."

'Not like we were allowed to even eat such... Father and Shōtō both really value freshly cooked food and not packed ones...' You let out a strained stifle at the thought of their similar taste.

Not long into your search, you heard the front door open and in came...

"Big brother, Natsuo!" You chirp happily as your white-haired brother grin at the sight of you. "(Y/N)!!" He cheered skipping over to you to twirl you into a firm hug. This made you giggle "How was your day, Big brother, Natsuo?"

"Little Imou-chaan... Why do you give me such a long nickname? Why not just call me Naa-chan? Or Nii-chan?" Whined the young adult as he rests his cheek over your head.

"But I love your name..." You bashfully told him making him blink before recoiling in pure joy. "Really!??" He squeaks his eyes just bawling with tears of joy.

Trying to pry your older brother off you, you quickly set up some refreshments for him. The sight of this made his smile falter, "You really don't need to prepare me tea, (Y/N)... I'm not a guest, I live here too." His words made you snap out of your routine and a dark red blush appear on your cheeks.

"R-Right...! I forgot...!" You nervously laugh pausing your actions. "It's just that you always weren't around... I guess my instinct of being a host just took over..." You trailed off as you awkwardly put away the set.

"Woah, hold on. That doesn't mean I don't want some of your special brewed tea." Beam Natsuo watching you happily from the table.

How you needed those kinds of words. With Natsuo in the room, you felt your chest bloom with happiness. "Then I will hurry it up!"

"Yay!"

Setting the tea on the table you sat across Natsuo who took a big whiff of the tea aroma and let out an overdramatic sigh of content. This again made you laugh. "You are so silly Big Brother, Natsuo!"

"I'm glad" he curtly replies. Staring at your content face with fondness. His smile was soon wiped and he frowned when you weren't looking.

"The house is pretty quiet during the weekdays, huh?" Natsuo struck a conversation eager to have a nice chat with his youngest sister.

Hearing his comment you laughed, "Silly brother, " you say making him raise a brow "It's always been this quiet, remember?"

"Not really"

"Fuyu-nee is still busy even through the weekend as a teacher, Father doesn't really take day-offs, Shoto would be doing advanced studies and you'd be at your girlfriend's house." You list off unknowingly putting weights on his shoulders.

"What about mom?" He asked making you tilt your head as if he said something weird.

"Didn't father say mother went on a business trip?" You say with a wide smile "you've been getting really forgetful recently, silly big brother!" A giggle left your lips making Natsuo chuckle alongside you.
