"Remember, don't show off too much but don't hold back that you'd be behind,"
"Okay, Shōtō!"
"And don't gloat or anger any of your classmates."
"Right!" You reply beaming with excitement. You were almost ready to dash ahead before you remembered something. "Oh, since we have our assessment test before lunch, can I not do training today and eat with you?"
Despite your request being simple Shōtō face contorted into a confused one before turning back to normal.
"You can't slack in your training if you are training to be a hero, taking your training for granted is a mistake, you'd be left behind." The dual haired male reprimanded you making you look down in a guilty like way.
Not really feeling the guilt, which made your eyes droop at the disability.
"Right, sorry..."
Looking at your body language and the male stayed quiet before he placed a hand on your head, ruffling up your pink locks making a bright pink hue appear on your cheeks.
"Do a good job, okay?"
Awestruck and happy you chirped an 'alright' and skipped into your class.
Sighing at your carefree attitude, Shōtō made his way to his classroom ahead of the others. Behind him though, was a silent character. This silent character was somewhat interested in the scene that was playing before him.
But after seeing it now, he held a small frown, the relationship between the two seemed to strike something in him.
Making it to the door, he caught sight of you smiling brightly in your chair. But before he walked in, he noticed a group of girls lightly giggling among themselves with a topic that made him frown. The topic on who could be a hero in the class.
Knowing the results of the conversation without even hearing it, he decided to distance himself away from them.
Heading over to his chair, the indigo haired male notice you looking over to him. With a sweet smile, you sent a small wave to him. "Good morning!"
To say he wasn't shock with the bright greeting would be a fat lie, but he was able to catch himself and gave a curt nod showing that he heard you. At the corner of his eye, he saw you immediately stuck your nose in a novel book. He didn't feel like talking to you, much less approach you.
He'd rather not get involved in any drama you may fall into, plus he wasn't here to make friends. His goal was to be in the hero course, so he'd rather not make any connections in case he gets transferred.
It was something mentioned during the introduction and opening ceremony yesterday. And the said chance of being able to transfer wasn't that far as well, so he needed a plan.
"Alright, class settle down!" Announced the teacher making their way in the room.
"As you all remember, today we're having the mandatory quirk assessment test, so I want you to dress up in your sports uniform found in your designated changing room lockers and wait outside on the field!"
Once given the order, the students all began to file out making their way to the changing rooms as they chatted amongst one another.
Quietly you followed the crowd, walking somewhere near the back, you listened in to all the other conversations your peers held. Though it may be a bit rude to eavesdrop, you couldn't really help it. With sharp ears, and not much to think off. Your attention and mind were easily swept away in the air.
"Todoroki-chan!" You jump when the loud voice called your last name.
"Tomodaichi-- You surprised me." You told her with a hand over your heart.
