Something happened. And you couldn't understand what, when, or why. All you know is that you woke up to the sounds of Shoto's cries and your mom's shouts. This made you run out of the room you shared with your brother.

"Mommy?" You called with worry as you ran down the hall to where they are. "(Y/N)!?-- Q-Quickly! Call your father!"

"B-But..." You slightly whimper you watch your mother cry her eyes out making you bite your lip as you felt a swirling sensation in your belly. Without a word you quickly kneeled next to Shoto and Rei. Rei looked at you with teary eyes that made you freeze.

The tremendous sadness in her orbs bore holes into your own. The was a loud voice in your head shouting at you, saying: "Help them!". But you don't even know what to do. Shoto was screaming in pain. Rei is just overwhelmed with stress. This feeling... The overpowering aura that encapsulated these two people that you loved the most.

It pains you to no extent. "Mommy..." You whimper watching her trying to put ice on over your brother's left eye. This part is where you felt the source of the aura.

It made your own left eye tingle at how strong the pain feels to your young, 5-year old, self. Without a word you quickly grasped Shoto's hand as you clutched onto your mom's arm.

"(Y/N)?" Rei opened her eyes, watching the glow before her. A small tremor racked through the Todoroki household and a small smile graced your lips as you looked to your mother who felt her inner turmoil disappear. Now, this leads her to focus on her son. Who's cries went away as he falls into a deep sleep.

"Shoto..." Rei sighs in relief but soon notices that her daughter was no longer holding the hand of her twin. And instead was clutching her arm with a scrunched up and confused face.

"(Y/N)?" She mutters feeling the weight of her shoulder lift slowly but surely. 'This is (Y/N)'s quirk?' She thought with hooded eyes and a small smile. Her mood lightening up as she starts to feel herself come back together. Just as she was about to let the lovely feeling consume her, a small whimper broke her thoughts.

She looked over to you and horror-struck her eyes. The skin around left of your eye started turning dark as tears ran down your cheeks.

Rei took a quick glance at her son and gasp when the burn started to disappear. Your hand found its way to his cheek and under the bright glow of your hands, soft trails left Shoto's skin and onto yours.

'Is... Is she taking Shoto's pain?'

Rei's brow furrowed as her mind racked with confusion and... Inner thoughts. 'Shoto is gonna be fine...' Her mind sighed with relief '...he will wake up. He won't be in pain... Thank goodness (Y/N) is taking his pain away...'

'Thank goodness...?' She paused herself Recalling the words she just uttered. '(Y/N) is taking his pain away... (Y/N) is taking... my pain... away...?'

'Taking my pain... in... in her!?' As if something hit her in the head Rei's consciousness and logic came back to her. Her hands flew to the hands of her daughter, taking it off that of the boy's cheek. As a result the, growing scar she had on her face disappeared and back on Shoto's.

"Mommy..." You whimper. Your mind still out of it as your head fell to the lopsided. "Mommy... It hurts... It hurts"

Rei croaked as she watches her pain reflect through the orbs of her daughter's. "Mommy... Daddy is hurting me... Why is daddy hurting me... Did I do something bad? Am I a bad girl?" Slowly turning hysterical as you cry out in pain as your head throbbed with memories that don't belong to you.

Pulling you tight in her grasp, Rei sobbed. Stroking your hair as she rests her forehead over yours almost willing the effects of yours quirk to return her bad memories back to her. So that you don't have to see the horrors of a man you genuinely respect and see as a father.

"No, daddy is not hurting you. It's me. Mommy's hurting you. Mommy is being bad to you. I'm so sorry my sweet baby..." Rei wailed as you continued to cry out in pain. Hearing heavy footsteps quickly make their way to the trio. Rei sobbed as she looked at the man who she dreaded to see.

She feared what he would do-- but the pain of her children outweighed any other fear she harbors towards the man as she begged for help in a desperate cry.

"Enji... Help them!"

[--]

You let out a small yawn, stretching your limbs out like a cat. Squinting your eyes, you noticed that you were in a white room. Covered in white sheets. With a weird beeping sound in the background of your fuzzy vision. Taking a glance at your side, you noticed a large window with thin blue curtains. The room was cold and quiet, the only sound being mumbles, that came from the hall outside your room. Which also had access to the view out in the hall.

Noticing you were awake. A nurse entered with a soft smile, "Hi, sweety how are you?"

You looked around you with confusion feeling your eyes water. The nurse tried to calm you down but you couldn't help but cry.

'Why am I crying?' You wonder letting your body act on instinct, your lips started letting out wails and cries. You kinda ever bad for the nurse who tried to soothe you but for some reason, you don't want her to be the one to soothe you.

"Awe sweety don't cry--"

"I... I want my daddy!" You sobbed before your head started to pound and your vision went black again.

By the time you woke up again, you found Enji sitting on the chair across your bed reading a book. He must have arrived while you were asleep and decided to read to pass the time.

"Daddy...?" You let out a dry cough. Crying earlier made your throat sore and mouth dry. You didn't expect it, and so, made you cough more. Enji let out a sigh before pouring you a glass of water to give to you to drink. Taking it all down in one huge gulp you asked him in confusion.

"Daddy, what happened? Why am I here?" You mumble with furrowed brows.

"You got sick." The man replied crossing his arms. "You've been asleep for a few days now." You were alarmed by his answer worried and confused about what happened but when you tried to recall the events, your brain surged with pain.

"I don't remember what happened..." You whimper with a hiss. Feeling your father rub stroke you head to soothe the pain.

"Daddy where's mommy?" You softly asked.

And a look of uncertainty crossed his mind. "Before that, tell me what do you remember?"

"I remember..." You mumble whimpering at the throb before a memory clicked in your brain. It wasn't much, just a hazy scene. "Shoto... Vomiting?" You said with a frown. "Shoto was vomiting and I was trying to comfort him and then I got hit in the face... " You pout with a deep frown rubbing your cheek.

'That never happened...' Enji looked at you in confusion, before he let out a silent hum. 'Does that mean...'

"Who hit you, (Y/N)?"

You squinted your eyes trying to make out the blurry image. And slowly but sure it started to clear up. "Mommy..."

"Mommy hit me..."
