Chapter 66: The Practical Exam

HOOOONK!

Went the horn signaling your twin's fight. You unconsciously felt your fingers clench into a fist with anxiety. The fight went as you expect and unexpected it to go. Even though you can't hear their conversation, through Yaoyorozu's expression you can tell your brother is taking the lead even though she had a plan and wanted to express it to him.

In all honesty, it happened with you enough times to familiarize yourself with his small antics and body movements,  as well as pick on Yaoyorozu's awkward features. You remember back at the festival that she looked very mature and elegant in the beginning during the race, also the cavalry. You kind of sad for her when she lost against Tokoyami. Maybe it was because of that, her aura went solemn for a little bit. You didn't take it to mind though since you were focused on your own at that time.

You thought it was over after Shoto got caught but then to your surprise Yaoyorozu had something up her sleeve. The following plan was really cool and well thought out. You almost thought that they failed when the catapult wasn't immediately launched.

'Eraserhead would have ruined their plan if he used that opening...' you thought with a hum before shrugging carelessly, 'Maybe it was a tactical retreat. Oh well, they passed so it doesn't matter anymore.'

"I'll get going now then." You waved over to the duo who still looked confused even though you'd have enough time to prepare after the match before yours and the boys.

"Aha... I have to check my supply of energy essence and maybe borrow absorb some from Shoto. So I'll be busy preparing myself. Make sure to tell me any other details later Midoriya-san."

"Ah, sure! I'll meet you at our examination site."

"Hmm! Good luck Ochako-san." you wished with a beam watching her nod determined, "Good luck to you too!" The door let another hiss and hum and you left the room with a sigh. Once you found your way outside the building, a relaxed sigh left your lips. The anxiety you didn't show finally seeping past your mask.

'It's almost my turn...' you shook your head, 'It's almost our turn... I am fighting with other people against someone like All Might. I didn't talk with Midoriya-san about anything regarding a strategy, I know I could ask Katsuki but if Midoriya-san is left in the dark then the plan could fall apart. Furthermore, I am pretty sure that Katsuki wants to fight with All Might... I don't want to though...'

'Fighting a teacher... Fighting an adult... Fighting someone with years of experience... Someone who is above my dad...' You felt your shoulder shudder when you recalled the flickering aura you can see around the smaller, more condensed, shape in All Might's body. 

'How do I win against someone really strong?'

Went the horn of the final battle before yours. It had your fingers twitching with anxiety as you move in your place trying to pay no mind to it. True to what you told Midoriya, you went and find Shoto and got recharged with an extra supply for both fire and ice. Then you headed to a dense forest and supplied yourself with natural energy.

Although by the time you made it to the city you are going to fight All Might in, your nerves kicked in when you saw the large, metal, grey gate.

"Oi, stop your fidgeting," Katsuki mumbled staring at the gate with a hardened stare. He was in a serious state ever since you first found him in and was self-conscious of whether you should disturb. "I'm just nervous..." you said shaking off the tremble in your bones.
