Days passed on and almost in a flash, the day came, the Sports Festival.

True to the teacher's words. It was really a big event. In one of few days where the school is open to the outside, hundreds of people eagerly filed in through the gate that was heavily guarded with inspectors and police, and into a large coliseum made by the school for each school year.

It was incredible really. The size of the buildings were amazing and you heard from your classmates that the cities you fought in were beta cities and that there are dozens scattered around the large campus.

In addition, you were told by your father, that this year, your school year, was at the center of the spotlight because of the villain attack that threw the class 1A into fame.

With this info shared with you, it now made sense as to what got your classmates so riled up about when they found out your brother was from the very class that was attacked.

'I remember the day when we were first told about the sports festival. So many people came to see just who they're fighting up against.'

So many people were crowded around the entrance of your brother's classroom, it was quite the hassle for you to squeeze through to observe. Bakugo was surprisingly calm that day, not that your quirk had anything to do with it...entirely.

But he did hold good on his own... Or maybe there was another reason for his attitude.

Shinsō made his sudden declaration of war to the students inside with Tetsutetsu following quickly after, making quite the show. Such bold people...

Though you didn't get to greet your friends from the class, it's probably not a good idea from your standpoint. You did see more of who you are going against. You practically almost squealed in happiness when you saw someone in the who was entirely pink! Her skin almost the same shade as your hair.

You didn't know anybody from the class but the small handful, but you know even though you knew them, they certainly won't go easy on you.

"Todoroki, are you nervous?" Tomodaichi asked peeking over your shoulder with a worried stare.

"I'm fine. It's just that I'm so nervous!" You say scratching your cheek in an embarrassed manner.

"Don't worry, you will do well I just know it!"

"Thank you, Tomodaichi..." You giggle. Hearing the door open, you saw your class representative, with noticeable trembling knees, announce that the festival will begin.

The announcement brought excitement and anxiety embedded into all of your classmate's hearts along with you.

They were waiting for this moment ever since the festival was first announced and they could barely hold in their energy. You took this opportunity to absorb their negative emotions earning smiles of gratitude in return. 'It's really a win-win situation, you won't feel tired while I get more energy...' You wanted to explain for the longest of time but never got the chance to.

"Alright! You heard, pres' let's get going!" Excitedly cheer Tomodaichi hyphenating your classmates up in you which you joined in.

"Let's give it our best! Good luck to us all!" You say earning cheers from your peers.

Looking over to your purple-haired friend, you give him a soft yet supporting smile to which he replied with a ghost of his own. "Good luck to you too." You whispered Shinsō.

"Don't forget, our agreement?"

"You can count on me..." You beam as you both head out the door leaving an eavesdropping Tomodaichi confused and curious.

'Arrangement?'

"Hey! Heey! Get ready audience! Come forward mass media! Its the highschool fighting ground you all love --everybody! The UA Sports Festival is about to start!" You heard the spectator yell at the top of his lungs even though he had a mic to do the very task for him.

"Are you ready!?"

Roars of cheers followed after the man, leaving a ringing sensation to echo in your ear.

'I'm getting nervous again...'

You gulp looking at the entrance of the gate. Trying to stop the tremble of your hands and legs. Nervous, though may be a negative emotion to many people, is still a science of the body the adrenaline speeds up the contraction rate of the fibres, ready for fighting or fleeing. You tried calming yourself by clasping your hands together over your heart and taking a deep breath.

'What's gonna happen here? What's gonna happen after? Things like these always get me worked up for some reason...'

You purse your lips trying to take deep meditate away your jittery emotions, but it was ultimately failing.

'I can't concentrate!!--'

"Don't worry..." You heard a soft whisper dance against the skin of your earlobe making your cheeks blush from the heat and the closeness of the voice. "Shinsō?" You jump in surprise feeling his fingers wrapping around yours catching you by surprise.

Shinsō noticed your flustered expression and smile. "It's not fair that you simply took our uneasiness away but end up making some of your own."

His words made your head spin with the sincerity and charisma of his tone. Adding to the pile was his soothing aura that entangles itself around you and him. His aura was so magnetic that you always couldn't help but near him just so you can feel comfort and safety that lacked in your daily life as you always felt that your life was exposed and on the line.

Opening your lips to mouth words of your reply, you were cut off by the spectator went on in the background. "AU sport sports festival is a once-a-year battle where rookie heroes engage in a fierce competition to take their place at the top. You all want to see these guys, right?"

This gave you a chance to recollect yourself. You were touched by his thoughtfulness but smiled somberly. "If only I have such emotion then I would be able to enjoy this more." Were the words you whisper back, thanking the dark of the entrance for its protective cover that was able to hide your flustered cheeks and shy expression.

"Get ready..!"

"Although attacked by the enemy, their hearts of stealing pushed them through and on, our shining stars, Class 1-A!" With such enthusiasm, the spectator continued on introducing the other courses, but they were rather dull and vague introductions, unlike for class 1A and 1B.

This didn't sit well with your peers as they frowned with envy and annoyance greatly crossed with the outcome.

"We're just here to make those guys look better, huh?" Comment your classmate behind you. No one, neither did you, object to his words. Though the chances are possible, you were not willing to let such things happen!

This was your ticket to get into the hero course, to be in the classroom of your brother!

'But... Do I want to be in the same room as my brother?' A thought from the back of your mind inquired, almost as if you doubted that you even wanted to be near the stoic and cold brother of yours.

'Of course, I do... He's my brother,' your mind argued with its other half. The half that seems to be your pessimism that always never had the chance to make its debut. 'Isn't it natural to want to be with my brother?'.

Crowding around the small stage you looked up to the female heroine, who smirked down at you all as if you were her prey and she was a hungry predator.

"It is time for the player's pledge!" She announces the chief umpire.

"It's Midnight-sensei..." Whispered your male classmate who had a blush on his cheeks and his eyes, much like a few other males around you, stare at her with the inability to look away. "..the rated R hero."

This made the girls close to your roll your eyes at them in annoyance and with a knowing expression. You could only hold in a giggle at the wavering kinds of emotions that radiated from the students around you.

"Quiet everyone! Representing the students from class 1A, Bakugo Katsuki!"
