Chapter 36: Pinky No. 1 vs Pinky No. 2 (final)

"I fight better this way." You told her shifting into a stance waiting for her to do the same. Despite her guilt and uncertainty, Ashido knows this was still a fight and got serious, but the moment she was on a solid form, you bolted.

Ashido was in utter shock unable to allow her brain to process what was happening. She hastily swung her fist to punch but you easily blocked it and jumped onto her shoulders wrapping your legs around her neck under her armpit from behind and with a quick twist threw her body to the ground.

"WOAH! What a turn around! Todoroki--girl's lightening moves easily threw Ashido off her feet!" the crowd roared in excitement as your previous defense turned to offense and had been dominating the hero course's pink girl. "Has there been a rising star in the midst of the department course we didn't know of?"

Ashido stumbles back from your swift movements growing exhausted and tired before feeling it wash away just as fast light.

You charged at her again making her more determined to beat you she swung a fist but dodged and slide under her second swipe. You were fast like a feline and got on your fours before pushing off again and once again Ashido was left with little to no chance to breathe.

"Take this!" She yelled throwing a large batch of acid towards you hoping to get you to avert but she was shocked when you swung your arm to bat it away revealing a glowing ord you have been conjuring in your opposite hand.

"What!?" She squealed getting ready to block seeing how close you already are. She was prepared to feel the pain of burns or maybe the force of gravity pushing against her. 'Here it comes..!' She squeaked her eyes shut ready for anything.

CLAP!!!

But she was not ready for that. You clapped the hand with the orb with your empty one 'popping' the orb that nested in your palm. The loud sound made the entire arena quite as the other orbs of light that was splayed around the ground popped as well sending a waved of light outwards like ripple before sucking back into you like an echo returning to the source.

Ashido blinked frozen, staring into your eyes that never left hers. 'What happened?' she asked herself noticing you not moving from your previous move staying in one position.

Gaining her consciousness she took a step back but as the weight transfer, a sharp zap crosses her mind and her vision blurred, her foot wasn't able to hold her body up and quickly fell into gravity's embrace. The coliseum was quiet, waiting for the girl to get up but she didn't. Midnight walked onto the battlefield to spectate and found Ashido passed out exhausted.

She raised her whip, a voice echoes the stillness of silence. "Ashido Mina is unable to battle!" pointing to you she grinned announcing "Todoroki (Y/N) wins!"

Almost immediately the crowd burst with cheers and cries. The feeling of someone cheering fro your victory and achievement felt so unreal and... amazing! You shyly waved back to the people before looking back to Ashido who was now picked up by the bots.

"Ah, wait excuse me..." You called halting them. You walked up to the pink girl and pecked her forehead. In an instant, the girl woke up with a gasp. "What happened!?" She cried out before noticing the lopsided smile you had and the fact she was on a stretcher. "Aw... Poop," she pouted before smiling at you, "Congratulations!"

"Thank you. And thank you for the amazing battle, you really made me give it my best!" You beam walking with her to the exit with smiles and pats on the back.

But at the back of your head, you could have sworn you heard a soft whisper, "Cheater..."
