"Alright, those assigned to clean today will have to stay. The rest have a safe trip home don't forget about the exams coming up." Your teacher says as the school bell chimed. Students started raising chattering among themselves excitedly.
"Hey did you hear? The hero course is having their hero internship!" one spoke excitedly about piquing your interest that had you standing up from your seat to waddle over to them. "Hero internship?" you asked gathering collective gasps and cheers for your appearance.
"Woah, Todoroki-chan you approached us!" one of the classmates joked who quickly got slapped on the shoulder by another. But laughed along scratching the back of your head. "I-I wanted to learn to be more actively social..." you admit watching your classmate gush over your cute reasoning.
"Oh! It must be because of your burst of popularity, huh?" One of the guys grin earning curious glances from some of his classmates
"What do you mean by that?" they asked. "I saw this morning some of the students from Class 1B getting noticed by some people. It made me wonder if Todoroki got noticed too!" he concluded urging his classmates to close up on you, wanting to hear your side of the story.
'Maybe I should have picked a later time to socialize...' you inwardly thought before sighing in defeat.
"Well... Something like that happened this morning..." you mumble recalling the events that took place that day.
"Shoto it's starting to rain..." You notice watching the grey sky with early droplets of water dripping from the sky causing you both to dig into your respective bags only to frown at the discovery. "Did you pack the umbrella I left out for you?" You asked the stoic boy who shook his head watching you hum in confusion wondering where you placed your ow as well.
"It seems like we have to hurry... Can't you make some sort of water shield to protect us?" He asked in a monotone voice that had you pouting even though it was supposed to be a joke.
"Very funny, if I knew someone who could do that I would have saved as many as I could," you say with a huff waiting for your train to arrive.
That was when a small voice called out for you, accompanied by a little tug at your sleeve. "Excuse me...?" the voice of a little boy squeaked that cause you to look down in curiosity. Holding a closed umbrella with one hand, the child mumbled incoherent words "Take... um hello..! I wanted to... wanted to..."
With chubby rosy red cheeks, the brown-haired boy was close to crying as his anxiety and nervousness start to kick in making you panic at the change of his expression.
Fortunately, a woman who was standing at a small distance from you three as if supervising from afar. She appeared to his mother and approached when she noticed her son needing help.
"My son wants to gift it to you, " she says with a smile patting the head of her some who fiddled with his feet his cheeks glowing bright red.
Now understanding you bent down to greet him with a large smile. "Thank you! You really saved me, I was worried if have to run in the rain."
"You know, my son loves your match. He cheers every time you appear on screen!" The woman chuckles as her son whines in embarrassment. "Really?" You beam ruffling his hair with a giggle. "What's your name?" You asked.
The boy stuttered in reply mumbling, "...Setchi"
"Setchi? That's a nice name!" You chirp hearing the announcement of the train coming. "Well Setchi, I'll be seeing you around! Thanks again for the umbrella!" You waved. Walking with Shoto as you felt proud with yourself that the boy was jumping at his mother with glee.
But just as you thought you were on the clear. The people on the train instantly recognized you and your brother. Being that with your unique hair color, you easily stood out in the crowd like a light in the dark.
'This is too much for one morning!'
"And that's what happened," you said with a tired sigh, finishing your trail of thoughts to notice your classmates crowd around you making comments and praises in awe. They excitedly chatter away surrounding you in a tight crowd that made you feel woozy and a bit claustrophobic.
But it wasn't just the crowd, you were able to get a glimpse of one of your classmates' watch and your face turned green.
'I don't wanna go...' You solemnly thought ready to have yourself be engulfed by the crowd.
...That was until a loud voice erupts from the class's large door.
"YOUNG-MISS TODOROKI!!"
Called the no.1 hero who waved his large hand meaty "I have come by to pass a message from Vlad King! He's hoping that you will quickly head to your extra classes so that you can start as soon as possible!"
Smiling at the beaming blonde teacher, you gave a curt bow thanking him for telling you and waved as he turned to left. Grinning widely over his shoulder wishing you good luck.
You suddenly felt a looming presence creep behind you, creating a shiver to run down your spine. You could feel the prying eyes of your curious class and took a deep breath.
'To go and die from extra classes? Or to stay and die from socializing?' you pondered to yourself feeling your classmates dead set on getting answers.
'This isn't worth it'
You quickly grabbed your bag dodging your tackling classmates as you burst out of the door flipping into a crouched position before darting away from the arms of society.
Unknown to you, a blonde egoist blinked in confusion over what had just happened. Just moments ago he was walking down the hall ready to go home, the next, a crowd of Class 1C students suddenly tried barreling at you.
Now that you were out of sight, the students pouted to themselves before laughing off about their actions. Monoma could care less though, he just shrugged off as he walked on by, meeting eyes with another blonde who held a frown looking at the direction you left.
'Oh well,' he said to himself and he huffed 'This has nothing to do with me.'
Tapping on his foot patiently, Vlad King wait for you to finish your 1-hour lecture with your homeroom teacher. Standing in the lonesome hall of class 1B's training area*. Just as he took a glance at his watch, you came in panting. Loudly apologizing, "Sorry--! Sensei! I got... I got lost halfway!" you heaved with your hands on your knees.
Making his way to you, Vlad King crossed his arms. His face scrunched in a scolding manner.
"We have very limited, you know." he scolded lightly as you scratch the back of your head, "Any time we waste to finish lessons and practices can affect your chances of transferring to the hero course."
"Right, sorry..." You bashfully say straightening up. Vlad King observed you a small moment before starting everything off with a small introduction.
"So from here on out, you will now call me, Sekijiro-sensei. Though you may continue to call me Vlad King outside of the extra classes. In these sessions, we're going to continue with physical training and in addition, the hero training your department doesn't focus on."
"I see, "
"First though, we will be starting off with a mock spar to see where your levels lay in terms of your quirk." Taking out a familiar controller, Vlad King opened a hollow graphic screen in the air. Taking a glance at the numbers and characters you realized the these were your scores on your Quirk Assessment Test.
"Looking at your tests, it's concluded that you have exemplary results. But I wanted to see if you can score more." With a toothy smirk, Vlad King looked over to you. The look on his face was a tad bit concerning cause it's easy to see that he has plans for ambitious things.
"Get yourself ready! This will be a busy week for us!"
[A/M]: Yeah I brought Setchi over for a little scene.
