7 - Locked in Love

Y/N's POV
The boys successfully finished their tour. It was a tiring yet memorable trip. Bang PD was insisting on compensating me for the project, but I declined his offer. Being with my brother, and Jin is the only thing I need.

My feelings for Jin deepened as days passed by. The boys, and my brother are all very supportive. They let us have our private moments, but sometimes they so join us when we go out to prevent any rumor from spreading about the mysterious girl hanging out with them. So far, nobody has seen us nor figured out my connection to them. I've been trying my best too to prevent anybody from getting interested in me.

We have been back in Seoul for a couple of weeks now. The boys don't have anything planned yet for the coming months, but they have some trips within the country and several shows. I have assisted them, as their head makeup artist, in several shows. But I plan to meet with Bang PD to tell him that I might lay off for a while since I am planning to open my shop soon.

After an intense research and planning, I've decided to open up a shop x cafe. The shop will feature my complete cosmetics line, skin care, some fashion pieces, and a cute coffee shop. I am also planning to put up a small ball pit for than aesthetic feel. It's very millennial and Instagrammable. I'm planning to open up in Hongdae because that's where the millennials hang out, and it's very near Hongik and Ewha Universities.

I joined the boys at their shoot and had a quick chat with Bang PD.

Bang PD: Y/N-ssi. How's my business partner?

Me: We're doing well sir. Planning to open it in the coming week. Heard that you went the other day. Did you like how it's shaping up?

Bang PD: (smiles) Absolutely. I have a feeling that this will be a hit.

Me: One thing that's on my mind right now is whether or not I'll reveal myself as the owner. In no time, the fans will go crazy. It's not as if they won't be able to figure out who I am when they see me. What do you think?

Bang PD: That's indeed very risky. I think you should let your manager do it first. You can attend as guest, but there's still harm in it.

Me: I agree. Maybe I'll just observe, and see how it goes. But JK doesn't want me to attract the media. Because they might use any info to distract him, and we don't want that to happen.

We both agreed that the cafe will be disclosed as owned by Big Hit, the cosmetics are the ones used by BTS, and etc.

The day ended, and I was riding in Jin's car. The others are out attending to errands. We quickly dropped by Hongdae to check on the store.

Jin: Wow, baby. This is amazing.

Me: Right? Bang PD doesn't want to reveal yet that I own this because of the media interest. But, I love how it's shaping up.

The door pings, and we both look up in surprise to see who's at the door.

Lee Jong Suk: I heard that you're back, and you opened a shop.

I was caught off guard - I looked at Jongsuk in surprise, wondering how he got information.

Me: Jongsuk? But how?

LJS: (smiles) Seoul is small especially for those with power. (Extends a hand to Jin) Annyeong. You're Kim Seokjin right? I'm Lee Jongsuk.

Jin: Annyeong. I didn't know that you're friends.

LJS: Oh, haha Y/N is actually my junior when we were starting out in the industry. She never pursued acting. Hates it so much that she went to America and started her own business. Yah, Y/N how come you never called me that you're back? Anyway. Nice seeing you. Feel free to drop by 89 Mansion!

He kissed me on the check, and left his number. I told him that I'll visit him soon, and saw Jin glaring at me.

Me: Weo?

Jin: I didn't know you have a lot of time & friends.

Me: He's an old friend, Jin. Are you being jealous right now?

Jin: He's a Hallyu star. He knows you own this. And he knows your number. We will go on a world tour soon, and I don't know how I will leave you in Seoul knowing you have a lot of famous friends.

Me: (laughing) Aigoo, my Seokjinnie. Come baby. Let's go somewhere.

Jin was still sulking. We reached my car, and I drove to his protest. I drove until we get to Myeongdong.

Jin: Where are we Y/N?

Me: Wait here. But put your face mask on. Wait for me, jagi?

He smiled and nodded. He looked at my compartment for the masks.

We are here in Namsan Tower. I know I watch too many dramas, but if foreigners can believe in the love locks, why can't we locals right? I bought matching padlocks and went back to the car. It's a nice night, winter is about to end, and spring is fast approaching. I can see some trees preparing to welcome spring.

Me: Close your eyes, Jin.

Jin obeyed, and I handed him the lock.

Me: We're in Namsan. And before you start making fun of me. I want to tell you something. Tonight, I'm committing myself to you. You have my love, my heart. This is my promise, jagi.

I can feel my tears forming around my eyes. Jin is looking at me with love, and he kissed me passionately. We were making out so bad that we forgot we were inside the car.

We took turns writing our promises in our padlocks. When we finished we went up the tower, admired the view, and looked for a perfect spot to leave our locks. Good thing not a lot of people were with us, no one has spotted us yet. We took our masks off for a quick moment to take a photo.

We left the tower, and grabbed some food before heading back to Hannam Hill, where we fell asleep holding each other.

Little did Y/N and Jin know that a couple of ARMY fans noticed them. They were looking at the tall wide-shouldered guy thinking how he resembled their idol. They also noticed a girl beside him, but can't make out her face because it's dark.

The fans quietly followed the two, and went hurriedly to find the locks they left. And lo and behold - they saw the names Kim Seokjin and Jeon Y/N. Who is Jeon Y/N?

They posted the photo of the locks and it quickly circulated online - to all the news sites, and to all the BTS fan groups.
