22 - Second Mission

Y/N's POV
Thank goodness, our seats are a few aisles away from where the invited Idols are. After that awkward encounter earlier, I don't have the energy to deal with questions and what-not.

It's been a good night for our team - we already received the recognition for Best Couple, Writer of the Year, Golden Acting Award for Actor in a Miniseries.

We are now waiting for the results of Top Excellence Award for Actress in a Miniseries

Host: And the winner is.... (opens envelope) Lee Y/N, W Two Worlds!

Jongsuk hugged me, and gave me a quick kiss. The team were all congratulating me. I made my way to the stage, when I spotted the boys, and my eyes were drawn to Jin. He's looking at me with so much admiration and love. He mouthed "chukkamnida jagiya."

Me: (receiving the award and flowers) Kamsahmnida. Kamsahmnida. Annyeong, I'm Lee Y/N. I was not expecting this at all. Let me compose myself, hahaha. I don't even have a speech prepared, but I would like to first thank the cast and team of W. This is our recognition, not mine. Thank you director for casting me, and in believing in my skills. Thank you to the staff who are always there to assist us. Thank you to my co-actors for being super fun to work with. Thank you Jongsukie, you're the best partner ever. I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for me. For staying up, waiting for my scenes to finish even if yours ended hours ago. For being the best guy friend, any girl could have. I hope this is just the start of our dramas together. Gomawo.

...special mention also to Bang PD-nim of Big Hit, for encouraging me to act again. Gomapta. Of course, I have no choice but to greet Jeon Jungkook even if he just annoys me, to his parents, and to the members of Bangtan Sonyeondan. (I paused) And to Seokjin. Kamshamnida!

I saw Jongsuk's smile falter a bit, but he nodded at me in understanding. I didn't get to see Jin's reaction because I immediately went down the stage to join my team.

Host: Chukkamnida Lee Y/N. Next up we'll have Bangtan Sonyeondan!

JK's POV
We were all having fun teasing Jin. He was taken aback when he heard my sister mention his name. I really thought that she will leave him out, but I know deep down in her heart, she still loves my hyung.

Me: Yah! Focus now Jin-hyung. Second mission starts now!

Jin: JK! Tae! You heard it right, she said my name. Daebak! My heart is still pounding. Here Hobi (grabs Hobi's hand), you feel it? Yes. She still loves me. Right, jinja?

JHope: We know hyung, we know that's why let's do this. You know the revised last step right? Jimin you need to make sure to stay out of Jin's way, arra?

Jimin: Arra!

RM: Gaja! Let's do this! Bangtan Sonyeondan!

We ran out to the stage. We're perfoming "Idol" first. We went through the song with breeze. Everybody had fun dancing and singing along.

Next up is "Spring Day." When the opening chords played, I caught my noona looking at me. I gave her a quick wink.

It was Jin hyung who requested if we can perform this song. This is one of Y/N's favorite songs. Also, the lyrics are very timely with the current situation of these two.

I can hear the members singing the song with so much passion and feelings, especially Jin hyung. I keep looking at my noona, and I can see tears forming on her eyes.

Y/N's POV
Kim Seokjin. This guy is really amazing. And I still love him. Maybe I never stopped loving him. The boys were all singing "Spring Day," and now that I think about it. The lyrics are pretty right on. I can feel tears forming around my eyes. There are cameras everywhere, and I know they're all watching for our next move, especially after I also thanked Jin during my speech.

Jongsuk's POV
Well played, Kim Seokjin. I can see Y/N quietly sniffing and dabbing on her eyes. I handed her my handkerchief, and she took it, but gave it back.

I guess, better luck next time for me then. But until she decides to be with him again, I'll be here.

Jin's POV
This is it - the ending chorus is coming up. I can see her location, and I calculated how many steps I need to take to reach her.

We're still singing, and I started to go down tbe stage...

Instead of going to Jimin like in the choreography, I half-walked, half-ran towards her while singing my lines.

I kneeled in front of her, reached out to her hand, and kissed it.
