On one hand, I am kind of flattered that Darren is taking interest and putting effort into wanting to be with me and that this whole making him jealous thing was actually working, but I wasn't really expecting it at the same time.
I just wanted to enjoy the game and watch Klein to win like usual.
After walking away from Darren and trying to calm myself a little bit, I stopped and couldn't believe my eyes when I noticed up in the stands were Zion and Tasha actually laughing together and....oh my god, are they mates? Why Moon Goddess? Why?
I try and shake it out of my head and start heading up there when Zion says 'hi' to me and starts heading off.
I take a seat and notice a huge smile on Tasha's face before noticing me handing her the pretzel and her drink.
"Thanks." She says.
"Yeah." I tell her. "So Zion is your mate?" I ask.
Her smile then fades real quick and I right away feel bad as I know she probably believes that I'm upset at her which I'm not.
Zion is a good guy and all but he's Darren's Beta and the last thing I want to be around is him. However, I am truly happy for her.
"Don't worry. I really am happy for you and glad that you have found your mate. So don't worry about me and don't pretend to be sad when I know you're happy and excited that you guys are together." I tell her. "You guys make a great couple." I wink at her.
"Thanks." She says with relief and while hugging me.
"Of course." I smile at her.
When the game was over, of course Klein's team won and they were all heading out to celebrate tonight at his house with a huge party. He even offered me the opportunity to sleep over. So we all headed our separate ways to get ready.
Tasha came back home with me and we right away walked past the dining room where we saw Mikaela, Darren, Zion and the other members of his pack sitting around the table talking about whatever.
When Tasha and I finish getting ready, we head downstairs and she bumps into Zion.
"Damn you girls are looking really hot tonight." He says checking us both out.
"Why thank you kind sir." Tasha teases.
They really are cute together.
"What's the occasion?" He asks.
"We're actually on our way to Kleins' house for a celebration party for him winning today." Tasha explains.
"Oh, that's cool." He says.
"Did you want to come?" Tasha asks him.
I love her boldness.
"Hell yeah. But we've gotta finish this stuff up and then we'll meet up with you guys." He says.
"Great! I'll text you the address. Also, just curious, what business could you all have with Mikaela?!" She comes out and asks him.
"I'll tell you later sexy. Just make sure that nobody touches you." He tells her.
"You better hurry up then." She teases him and smiles.
"That's not funny." He says.
"Whatever, we need to head out. See ya later." She says as she kisses the side of his face 'goodbye.'
Damn, JUST found out earlier today that they are mates and are already all over each other acting like they have been together for a while. Must be nice to feel that with your mate.
I turned my head and noticed Mikaela and Darren suddenly alone in the dining room and her bending far over to show off her cleavage while talking to Darren.
I felt I was going to be sick. So I quickly walked out and followed Tasha towards the Uber waiting for us outside.
The music was booming as you could hear it from a few houses down and of course deafening from the time we got out of the car and headed inside. People were already hooking up, drunk, puking, laughing, dancing and overall having a good time.
I'm not really a party person but for tonight I'm going to have fun for a change and loosen up more.
The moment we walked in and spotted Klein and his boyfriend Ricky from the snack bar, we walked up to them in the kitchen.
"Hey beautiful ladies." They both greeted us.
"Hey guys. We're here to have some fun!" Tasha says. "Oh and my mate is coming tonight in a little while. So now we have two things to celebrate." She says.
He hands us both a drink.
"Yes well, congratulations but bitch you're not taking my thunder at my own party!" He says and we all cheers and then start drinking.
A couple of hours then pass by and at first Tasha and I are dancing and then the next thing I know she walks off to grab some more to drink and while she's away, some random guy joins me in dancing.
Right now I'm so buzzed and am not wanting to stop dancing so I go along with it.
He has me turn and put my back against his chest as he snakes an arm around my waist and we start moving our hips together.
"You're hot as fuck!" He shouts over the loud music.
"Thanks." I reply.
"You're in some of my classes right?" He shouts.
"Yeah" I reply back.
Suddenly I feel myself heating up and sweating more and more so I start fanning myself and hold up my hair real quick before he suggests we go outside to get some air. So we begin heading out to the back.
