"Is it wise that we never seem to realize how far we've fallen?
When we forget our smiles were ever real that a fake smile was a normal?
Every day we repeat the same thing time and time again just trying to find normalcy.
We're fighting for a sense of freedom but when we've reached our goal we're never okay with it?
How is it we can fight for something so small but lose ourselves on the way?
We try to hold on to those we love but holding on to them is sinking both of you 10x faster than before.
We come up with inspirational things but we never actually believe it.
We save so many people, but should we not have the choice whether or not we want to live?
They say it's our life but then they won't let us live it why is that?
Are we not free? Have we not won the ability to make our own decisions?
If we were free, then why are we held here by things that won't count when it all ends?
They haven't given us freedom, they've lied to us and we chose to believe."
