I guess you were just another example of just how much being left alone burns.
All those jokes and tears wasted on nothing.
Empty promises made, but I guess if I hadn't met you I wouldn't be able to do what I do today.
I've lost, I've won.
It's a back and forth battle of whether or not you were worth letting go.
It doesn't matter though because my love for you was like a stone I threw into an ocean, never to be seen again."
