Reyna merely rolled her eyes at him. She was really tired of being told to stop when she was only standing up for herself. It was becoming complete bullshit. Why did dick insist on fighting with her about everything? He had decided from the moment he laid eyes on her he hated her and she didnt understand why or what she did to earn his pissy attitude. "So. Nobody knows what the fuck is going on with my hand?"
Sunlaw frowned. "I'm afraid not princess. But anoch is right. We'll figure it out." He said seriously. "If the healer doesn't know anything then the local magus tower will."
Brodan sighed and offer Reyna a grin. "Well at least we know one thing." He said grinning. "The little guy is seriously fast."
Sylvie couldn't hold it in anymore. "Oh Ms Reyna. I am so sorry that you keep encountering such trouble and danger." She said sadly as she wrapped her arms around her.
Anoch seemed preoccupied with some form of complex math problem in the dirt that he didn't notice what was going on around him.
Reyna was still in isekis arms when sylvie hugged her. She shrugged a shoulder. "Its not your fault sylvie." She reassured dismissively.
Anoch stood then with a nod. "Statement. If we are to reach the healer before nightfall we must get moving at a brisk pace." He said seriously. "Anoch believes we do not have time to dally."
Sylvie pulled away with a sad look. "I know. I just feel bad that ever since you got here it seems like you can't catch a break." She said as she kept up with Iseki's determined strides.
Iseki had no intention of slowing down for the others this time. This time they would either keep up or be left behind. The others moved to match his pace as well with Caleb picking up the rear. "Seriously guys we should probably find out whatever did this to her and kill it." Brodan said seriously with a frown.
"Yes but the question is what." Sunlaw said. "We don't even know what exactly the hand did to her."
"Statement. Anoch believes the magus tower's library may hold the answers we need." Anoch chimed in.
(Idiot. What was she thinking? Sylvie went with her to protect her and fat load of good that did.) Caleb thought bitterly.
Reyna laughed at sylvies statement. "Its not just since I got here sylvie." She reasoned with amusement. She didnt understand why iseki was running. She wasnt bleeding out or anything. Not that she was opposed to getting to figure out what was wrong with her. But the brisk pace was only going to make him exhausted when his adrenaline wore off. "I can walk ya know." She reasoned to him quietly.
Sylvie frowned and it only made her eyes look sadder. "It is like this in your world too?" She asked. She couldn't believe Reyna had to deal with the same things her whole life. "I guess our worlds aren't all that different after all."
Iseki shook his head. "No I'm carrying you the rest of the way." He replied quietly. He had no intention of setting her down. "Best to just get used to this. I can go all year."
Brodan struggled not to crack a joke.
Reyna smiled weakly at Sylvie. "Lets just say ive had pretty rotten luck my whole life." She answered before snickering with amusement at isekis statement. "Oh really now?" She asked, cocking an eyebrow at him.
