Caleb was in the blacksmith forge already hammering away at a new sword when he spotted Reyna. "Hey. What's up?" He said casually. He'd always loved smithing. The hammering and the heat helped him manage his anger.

Reyna smiled affectionately at him. "I was hoping you maybe had time to talk? Theres a war meeting in about twenty minutes with everyone. And id really like to figure some stuff out before then." She requested hopefully.

Caleb gestured to a bench nearby. "Go ahead and have a seat. Mind if I keep working. I want to have this done by the meeting." He said casually as he kept working. It wasn't really a question. He was just letting her know he was going to keep at it as they talked.

Reyna nodded and moved to sit on the bench. Typical caleb. "Ive been thinking about it. And I think I've really narrowed it down to four questions i have for you. And honestly I know youre going to be honest with me whether I like it or not. Which i always appreciate. I just want that to still be the case here. But i need to know so i can figure this out." She explained so he would know what she wanted to talk about.

Caleb nodded. "Of course I'm gonna be honest. It's why people hate me so much." He said with a hint of pride as he started sharpening the blade."

(Wonder what's going on in her head.) He thought.

Reyna couldnt help but snort at him. "I find it to be one of your redeeming qualities." She admitted. She sighed then and ran a hand through her hair. "Okay. My first question is, if I decided to choose someone else. Would you still be my friend and be a part of my life?" She asked with a furrowed brow. She wanted to get that one out of the way before the more personal questions.

It was Caleb's turn to snort. "Well seeing as how you're about the only person I can stand and doesn't irritate me. I'd say that's a pretty safe assumption." He said as he furrowed his brow at the sword. "Of course I'll probably need a little time to get over it." He knew he couldn't stay upset with her if he tried.

Reyna nodded then with relief. "Okay. Next question. In our vision i knew you were very against it. But i also know youre a different person now then you were then. And things change because we had the vision. So if i ever decided i want children is that something you want?"

"No." Caleb said seriously. "I can't do that. I'm sorry. It's not you it's just I can't have another child especially after losing one so horribly. I had my ability to do that removed a long time ago."

Reyna nodded with understanding. "You dont have to apologize. I dont even know if thats something i want. I just want to know what to expect." She said genuinely. "Next one. Okay so if i pick you i don't plan on it being like in our vision. Everyone is going to survive. So i need to know if you would be okay being around the others in the group. If you would be alright with me spending time with the other men."

Caleb chuckled. "As if there would be anything I could say to make that not happen." He said amused. "That would be fine as long as you don't expect me to go out of my way to make them happy." (Well I think that's a fair compromise.) He thought.

Reyna giggled then. "No I would never expect you to go out of your way for anyone." She said with amusement. "I just find it hard to believe youd be okay with iseki being around all the time."

"Look I'm not going to say I'll like it but I won't stop you." Caleb said seriously as he looked over at her. "I have my own issues with kanis but as far as iseki goes he's not as bad as the rest." He wasn't even about to say he liked Iseki but he tolerated him more than any other kanis.
