Reyna laughed. "I know what a promise ring is. We have those where I'm from." She wasn't angry with him for putting it on. Did she really seem like she had a temper like that? "Really you're not going to be in this world much longer right? So just consider it a regular bracelet and move on Is." She reasoned. "Unless you don't want it anymore?"

Iseki cocked an eyebrow at her. "They say the bracelets like these are magical." He said looking at the red bracelet. "I don't know how though. I've never been close enough to anyone who's had one to really learn about them." He continued walking so he didn't have to say he wanted it out loud.

Reyna shrugged. "It's just a piece of ribbon Is. Any magic to is is in your head." she reasoned as she walked. "Hey maybe it could be like um. Fuck what are they called. There's these rings where I'm from and they have a heart on them. And if they're facing one way it means you're taken but if it's facing the other way it means you're like pulling love to you or something. Maybe it'll work like that for you."

Iseki laughed and shook his head. "Nope but like you said we're not gonna be hanging around here long anyway." He reasoned casually as they walked. "I should get you one to commemorate our friendship." He grinned at her easily.

Reyna laughed and shook her head. "No thanks. I got all the jewelry I need." She glanced at him then and sighed. "Alright stop a minute it's driving me crazy." She demanded as she stopped walking.

Iseki stopped and looked at her confused. "What's up?" He asked frowning. "Something wrong?"

Reyna took a step towards him and reached a hand out before rubbing a thumb on his lips. After a moment she reached down and grabbed his shirt, using it to clean her lipstick off of his face. "There. That's better." She reasoned before starting walking again. She couldn't look at her lipstick on his lips without being racked with guilt.

Iseki frowned. "What was that for?" He asked confused. "Did I have shit on my face?" (What was that for?) He wondered feeling completely lost. (She's such an odd woman.)

Reyna nodded. "Yep." She said casually as she kept walking. She really didn't want to get into it. It was a conversation she was avoiding.

Iseki cocked an eyebrow at her. "Well thanks then." He said casually. "So what kind of things do you do for fun now that you suddenly changed yourself?" He asked for casual conversation.

Reyna shot him a look. "I didn't suddenly change myself." She argued with mild irritation. She was grateful they weren't talking about the kiss. "And I go to work. And we go to wine tastings and dinner. Art galleries. Walks in the park. Social events. Things like that." She explained.

"You said you stopped doing the things you found enjoyable and fun so that means you've changed. Or trying to change right?" Iseki asked casually. "Not trying to judge or anything just let me know if I'm mistaken. I'm just saying how it seems to me." He offered her a smile to let her know he really wasn't trying to judge her.

Reyna eyed him for a moment before nodding. "Yeah. Trying to." She said quietly. She ran a hand through her hair. She wasn't upset with him for asking.

Iseki put an arm around her shoulder casually. "Hey relax. We busted out of prison together. I'm never going to judge you for your choices." He said easily. "What made you wanna stop having fun?" He didn't really understand not wanting to enjoy life as much as possible. "Is some force stopping you?"

Reyna snorted. "No force is stopping me." She said with amusement. She didn't pull away from his arm around her. "I just met Thomas. And wanted to do better." She explained.

Iseki didn't understand humans. "What could be better than living life to it's fullest by doing whatever makes you happy?" He asked confused. "I mean it doesn't sound like you were doing anything that was actually hurting anyone." (Man she's not making a very good case for this fiance of hers.) He thought.
