Iseki frowned as a wave of deep sadness washed over him. (I know baby.) He said as tears of the memory of the worst part of his torture replayed in his mind. (He.) He choked as he spoke. (He made me watch as he cut it off then cooked it. Then he..) there was no stopping the river of tears and sadness that overwhelmed him and choked out his words where he couldn't speak.
Reyna furrowed her brow with disgust before hugging him again. (I didnt know. I didnt want you to wake up and be shocked. I wanted to give you time to mull it over before you saw. Im so sorry Is. Its all my fault. I never should have dragged you into all of this. You would be just fine if I would have just went my own way. You being kind to me is what made this happen.) She apologized profusely. She was so sad for him and guilty that it was her fault. But most of all she was angry. Her biggest regret was coming into his life. But her second biggest regret was not torturing the fucker back.
Iseki held her tightly. And cried. He shook his head. (Don't you say that. Don't you ever even think it. You are truly the best thing that's ever happened to me and I'd gladly do it all over again just to be with you.) He said genuinely. (Don't you ever regret coming into my life because I never will.)
Reyna didnt feel the confidence that he felt that it was okay. She always seemed to fuck everything up. Including this. (How about we think about something else hm?) She suggested hoping to get both of their minds off everything.
Iseki leaned in and kissed her softly. The sensation of kissing her in their minds was something new. Deeper even. It felt to him, as if his soul kissed hers. (You could show me your world. Or your apartment.) He said softly.
Reyna smiled sweetly at him. (I dont have to do that. I was just offering. I thought it might help distract you.) She offered brightly.
Iseki smiled at her. (I would love to see where you live.) He said softly. (I'm curious what it looks like.) He smiled at her again with a small nod.
Reyna laughed. Part of her couldnt help but try to avoid the feeling of intimacy they had shared by kissing here. It made her feel like a bad person. (Well its not where i live. I live with thomas now. But ill show you where I lived for years. And where you can live when we go home.) She said offering a soft smile.
Iseki stroked her cheek with his thumb. He was frowning. (Why do you feel like a bad person? You died to save me.) He said softly. He felt bad that he was causing her to be down on herself. He didn't want to cause her any pain or grief. He just wanted to make her happy. Even if it meant he had to watch her love someone else.
Reyna exhaled. (It doesnt have anything to do with that.) She said before she realized he knew she had died. And she felt badly that she had downplayed how badly she had gotten hurt.
(What is it then?) He asked softly not pulling his hand away from her cheek. (I know you were just trying to protect me by not telling me how bad you're wounded.) He reassured.
Reyna laughed somewhat nervously. He was seeing everything she would normally hide, leaving her exposed. (C'mon. Let me show you my apartment. Close your eyes.) She said playfully, trying to change the subject.
Iseki chuckled softly. He liked that she could see everything in him like she could. He didn't understand why but it was comforting to him. He decided to make it a little easier on her and go along with her dodging. He closed his eyes and smiled at her (Alright.) He said softly.
