Iseki was the first to wake in the morning. He looked around and saw Reyna laying on him. Full memory of the night before came rushing back to him. (So it wasn't a dream.) He thought. Her dress had ridden up in the night. (Or was it never pulled back down?) He used his tail to ease her dress back downto cover her ass and draped his tail back where it was. Then he noticed a white thread coming from his wrist. (What is that?) He wondered, but as he was about to examine in her heard Sylvie emerge from the tent. He looked over at her descreetly and wished he hadn't. She was naked and using her abilities to quietly open the canopy high up in the trees to let the sunlight down in a beam directly over her. Sylvie seemed to be showering in the sunlight happily so Iseki pretended to be asleep. (What's this white ribbon? It looks like a red thread but it's white. I don't understand.) He thought.
Reyna shifted when his tail moved her dress and slid a hand to the center of his chest. She let out a small sigh as she snuggled up against his warmth more before her breathing evened back out calmly. Her lips pulled up into a small smile of contentedness at the feel of his skin under her cheek.
Iseki tried not to make a sound when Reyna moved on him. He peeked his eyes open at her and couldn't help but smile. (This is what life is all about.) He thought. Then he noticed Sylvie had vanished. He opened his eyes and looked around for her only to see her standing over them with a quizzical look. He was startled by her sudden and silent movement. (How the hell did she sneak up on me like that?) He thought.
"Ms Reyna." She said softly and quietly. (She's not going to be happy about this.) She thought.Reyna groaned and tucked her head into Iseki more with a furrowed brow. She reached out to try to pull a blanket over her head, a signature move of hers, and only found iseki's tail and attempted to cover her eyes with it.
Iseki couldn't keep himself from groaning at her sudden contact with his tail as she grabbed it and pulled it to her face. His heart started pounding again.
"Ms Reyna. You may want to wake before the others." Sylvie said softly as she gently placed her hand on Reyna's back.
"Why are you naked?" Iseki asked with his eyes clenched shut. He prayed that Reyna wouldn't think his heart was racing because of Sylvie.Reyna groaned again. She slid her hand down iseki's torso and peeked her eyes open. For a minute she had thought she was home in bed. But Sylvie's voice reminded her that she was still in a strange world. Her head ached from the drink she wasn't used to and guilt slammed into her like a semi truck when she remembered the night before. As beautiful as it was, her ring weighed heavy on her finger with memories of being away from Thomas for one day and sleeping with someone else. Even if it was Iseki, it was wrong. And it made her a cheater. A bad person. And she didn't know what she was ever going to be able to do to fix it with Thomas. Would she just not tell him? If Iseki came back to her world, it wouldn't take long for him to catch on. Especially with how at ease they were around each other. And now she would have the temptation to do it again. In this world or hers. It was a tangled web and she didn't know what she was supposed to do. She assumed Sylvie was being kind in warning her that her and Is were still tangled in each other before everyone else woke up. "I'm up." She said, her mouth sticky dry as she licked her lips to try to get moisture back to them. Her blue eyes barely snuck from under her heavy lids to look up at Sylvie from under iseki's tail.
"Ms Reyna I am sorry to wake you but it is important. You may want to look at your wrist." Sylvie said softly.
That's when Iseki looked at Reyna's wrist and saw the same white ribbon. But her's was different. There were multiple ribbons. His eyes widened as he looked around following the ribbons and his heart dropped.Reyna blinked at her a few times before looking down at her hand that was still on iseki's chest. Her wrist was wrapped in a white thread thick around her wrist like a bracelet. It branched off in several directions. After a moment of counting, she realized five white threads spread out from her wrist in different directions. She sat up then fast at first but slowly when her head throbbed. Lifting her wrist, she found it to somehow have more weight than the other. "What the fuck?" She mumbled with a furrowed brow as she held her wrist in front of her face to examine it.
