Iseki was unconscious with a bleeding head wound as the battle raged around him. Brodan managed to crush the soldier that clubbed Iseki. The screaming drew the other detachment into the fray. But soon the red soldiers were being hung one by one with living vines.
Sylvie's voice could suddenly be heard singing an incantation in the growing silence. Soon the red soldiers hung lifeless over the battleground and everyone was returning to the ground. Caleb and Brodan were coated in blood and breathing heavily. "Is the little guy alright?" Brodan asked.Reyna ignored all of the soldiers and bloodshed and ran through the fray as they all began being hung with vines. She still didn't care. She skidded to her knees next to Iseki and swore under her breath when she saw he was out cold and bleeding. "Is? Is cmon wake up." She pleased as she pulled her backpack off and pulled another leftover cloth strip out to press to the back of his head.
Sunlaw frowned. "He's not responding let me in there." He said kneeling next to Iseki and holding his hands out over him. (This should earn me some points with her.) He mused as his hands started to glow.
The only other person not watching was Caleb. He was looting what he could not really concerned about Iseki.Reyna sat on her heels and gave sunlaw the room he needed to do whatever it was he was going to do. She watched with awe and curiosity when his hands started to glow. But her main concern was overwhelming concern for Iseki. He had to be alright.
Iseki's wounds started to heal beginning with his head. "Just a few moments and his wounds will be gone." He said casually. (And you'll be so grateful to me for saving him.) He thought.
Brodan paced waiting for Iseki to wake up. "Damnit man wake up. You saved my ass just now. You better not die till I repay the favor." He said frowning.
"Statement. Anoch doesn't believe his wounds are bad enough that Sunlaw's magic can't heal him." Anoch said as he watched.
Sylvie felt like crying. (He's already been through so much. Why does he have to endure more?) She thought sadly. She felt so guilty about what he had to see and feel only to get injured.Reyna kept her eyes on Iseki and moved to pull his head face up into her lap, not caring about the blood. She just wanted him to be alright. She focused and held her breath, waiting for him to wake up.
Iseki's eyes slowly blinked open. The first thing he saw was Reyna's face. He could tell she was worried about him. "Didn't mean to take a nap." He said with a weak grin.
Brodan let out a breath he was holding. "By the Strada little guy you picked a shitty time to nap." He joked with relief.
"There he'll be fine." Sunlaw said casually. "His wounds are healed." (Thanks for opening your big mouth Anoch. I could have looked like a hero the her.) He thought.
Anoch nodded. "Statement. As Anoch said. His wounds were light." He said as he started recollecting his arrows.
Sylvie let out a breath of relief. She was glad he was alright but she didn't want to interrupt Reyna's reaction time with him.
Reyna let out the breath she was holding and exhaled with relief. She smiled at him with worry set in her brow. "You should have warned me you were so unlucky." She said, hoping to make him laugh at the very least. She could kick his ass for scaring her like that. Especially after he avoided her when they hid in the trees.
Iseki gave a little chuckle. "Sorry to worry you." He said softly as he looked up at her blue eyes with his res ones. (What was I upset about?) He thought.
The others all started getting ready to move out.
"I am glad you are alright." Sylvie said softly with a smile.
