Sunlaw sighed with relief. "Sure what do you want to know?" He asked. He always had time to answer her questions. In a relationship or not he still valued her.
Reyna looked at him hopefully. "Do you think maybe i could take point when we get in there? At least at first? Ive learned more since we talked last and id like to just get everyone on the same page."
Sunlaw nodded. "Sure. I mean they'll probably take it better from you anyway." He said easily. "I'm not big on public speaking." He chuckled then with a shrug.
Reyna smiled at him and nodded. "Alright then. Lets not keep them waiting." She said with a sigh before heading into the livingroom to address everyone. "Hey guys. I'm about to dump a bunch of information on all of you to get us all on the same page. So try to stick with me as much as you can and save all questions until the end of the segment." She said with an amused smile.
Everyone was gathered in the living room waiting for Reyna and Sunlaw.
Sunlaw walked over and took a seat in one of the chairs to listen to Reyna speak.
Iseki had to fight the urge to kick Sunlaw in the face for making Reyna cry the night before.
Brodan grinned wide at Reyna as she stepped up to speak to everyone. (And she says she don't wanna be queen.) He thought with amusement.
Sylvie smiled at Reyna from where she was floating above Anoch and Brodan.
Brodan couldn't help but keep looking up her dress.
Reyna took a deep breath when she had all of their attention. "Okay. So from the visions we know for sure that the resistence will fuck us all over and all of you will die. So with that knowledge i have a plan to take care of that and whatever dick rulers name is. So firstly anoch is going to use his reconnection to magic to fix this fucking stone curse thing. And then were going to all go united to the resistence. Explain everything to them. And im sure most of them will join us. Those who dont we take care of. Then we take the resistence and go and get the kanis to come and help us. We take the fight straight to king dude and kill him. I have asked anoch and he has already agreed to become king in my stead. Hes perfect for the job and i dont want it. Then hes going to fix the time difference between worlds so i can go and get some of my shit. You guys can all have positions at court if you want or get whatever you want for helping fix the world. Yay go you. And then iseki and i are going to come back here and rebuild the kanis community together. Sound good?"
Brodan laughed. "Bout time we get to go on the offensive." He said grinning. "I'm ready to kill some shit."
Sunlaw nodded. "Sounds like a pretty solid plan to me." He agreed casually.
Sylvie nodded. "Finally my people can be free and I will not have to feel their pain." She said softly. Caleb nodded. "I'm impressed. That's actually not a shitty plan." He teased.
Anoch nodded. (So she is going to stay here.) He thought.
Iseki's jaw was on the floor. (She picked me?) He thought bewildered. "Are you sure baby?" He asked with a slight frown.
Reyna smiled and nodded then. "Okay good. But i dont know the resistence so you guys can work out the logistics on that end. I have a bitchin sword now. So you guys just let me know when you all figure out whats best to do with them. Talk it out. Take your time." She waved a dismissive hand as she discreetly grabbed hold of her only remaining thread. (Can i have a minute alone?) She requested.
Iseki nodded and stood up to head out of the room as the others launched into a discussion about the resistance. He was still taken by complete blissful surprise that she'd actually chosen him.
Reyna waited until the others were distracted before following him out of the room. "Whats wrong baby? Do you not like the idea of putting this village to good use?" She asked with a frown. She hoped she hadnt upset him.
Iseki looked at her stunned. "What? No. I love the idea." He said genuinely. "Honestly I'm just shocked that you picked me and I'm wondering if you're sure about taking on the task of gathering the kanis here. It would mean holding off on traveling for a while."
Reyna sighed and took his face in her hands gently. "Of course I picked you. I spent all day getting down to our thread. Of course i know it means no travelling for a while. Thats fine baby. I have to wait for anoch to fix the time change anyway and his plate will already be full. And besides, im in love with you. Frankly im a more than a little disappointed in your reaction." She frowned then.
Iseki smiled bigger than he ever had in his life and scooped her up in a tight hug and kissed her deeply. "I love you so much and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you and make you happy and smiling all the time." He said between kissing her.
Reyna giggled then. "Now thats more like it." She said, trying to keep up with kissing him back. That was more of the reaction she was looking for. She had chosen him above everyone else and realized that she really always had anyway. He was everything she always wanted. And he made her feel home for the first time in her entire life. "I do sort of have a question." She admitted then.
Iseki looked at her and smiled. "What's up Rey?" He asked. He knew he would give her anything she wanted if she asked for it.
Reyna couldnt keep the smile off of her face. On top of her own happiness his was contagious. "Well. I dont really know how this works. But I was actually wondering if you would tie the knot with me?" She asked hopefully. "Im not meaning to rush anything if you want to wait. I just thought it would be nice to do it here. Before everything gets crazy."
Iseki beamed at her as his joy reached all new levels. "It would be my honor and privilege to tie the knot with you." He said softly as he set her down. He held his left hand up with a smile. "All you have to do is be open and accepting and have the desire to tie with me." He explained softly.
Reyna couldnt help but giggle as she put her hand in his. "Together forever." She agreed easily.
Iseki smiled and leaned in to kiss her lovingly. "Together forever." He said softly as their thread turned bright red.
