Finally,i was allowed to work.
Shortly after i had my son,my parents came visiting.They stayed for about a week before going back to Kentucky.

When Future was three months old,I told Alice i wanted to get a job.I was starting to get uncomfortable with the fact she was taking care of my son and i.

Even though she wasn't complaining,i felt she had done enough by taking me in and taking care of me till i had my baby.
I wanted to make my own money so I could provide for my baby and also save up for my education but Alice insisted i wait till he's five months old.

Within one month i had gone for four interviews and none of the employers called me as they promised.I was starting to get frustrated.

One evening,Aiden got back from work and said he got a job offer for me as a nanny for his friend's sister.He briefed me about the job,showed me her picture and told me where to meet her the next day.

The next morning,i woke up by 6.a.m to prepare for my appointment with Mrs Debbie.
I finished with my morning rituals,showered and put on a black pencil skirt,peach chiffon top and a black pencil heel.

We had agreed to meet at her coffee shop somewhere in town.
Thankfully i arrived there at 6:52a.m.I walked up to the young lady at the counter,she seemed to be in her early twenties.I told her i had an appointment with Mrs Debbie and she asked me to sit,offered me a cup of coffee which i politely declined because i was nervous.

Here i was,sitting and waiting patiently for Mrs Debbie.
"Could she be the one?"I thought to myself as a tall,blonde,slender woman walked towards me.

"Hi.are you Karen Robert?"She asked me.

"Yes i am."I answered.

"Well I'm Debbie."She said while she extended her hands to shake me.

I got up from my seat and shook hands with her."Forgive me ma'am.I was really nervous that i couldn't recognise you."I said embarrassed

"It's okay Karen,you don't have to be.have a seat."She said while pulling out a chair to sit directly opposite me.

"Would you like anything to drink?"

"No ma,I'm okay."

"So,i believe Aiden has briefed you about the job?"She inquired

"Yes ma,he has."

"And you're okay with it?"

"Yes ma,I am."

"Good then,it's settled.you see..."She began "My job is really demanding.i've been managing well until i opened this cafe so my brother suggested i get my daughter a nanny and my husband is cool with it.Aiden has told me alot about you and i trust his judgement so I'm hoping you won't give me a hard time."She said

"No ma,i won't."I assured her

"Good.i'll ask Aiden to bring you over to the house tomorrow evening so we can discuss your pay and you also get to meet my daughter and husband."

"Okay ma."

"Nice meeting you Karen,I'll see you tomorrow.i have to rush to work I'm already late."

"Alright ma,have a nice day."

"And you too dear."She said as she patted my shoulders
