The next morning, I get dressed for school in my new clothes, I want to take the time to actually curl my hair and put on makeup, shocking as it may seem. I've never considered myself beautiful by any means but I'm certainly not ugly. I have strawberry blonde hair that goes down the the middle of my back. I've always loved my hair but never really care about styling it. I have blue eyes but one of my eyes is half brown. Apparently it's a birthmark that gets handed down every other generation. My grandpa Charlie also had it. I have basically been a tomboy my whole life I've always been pretty athletic, and I love swimming. Daniel and I used to go swimming at the lake close to my house every summer, all day, every day. Now that I have grown boobs and "developed" as my mom says my body has changed. I have curves and my butt isn't really flat anymore and did I mention boobs?! They are pretty amazing if I say so myself!

I decide to wear a blue top and some skinny jeans that cut off just at the ankle, with my white converse. I think this is my favorite outfit we picked out. My boobs don't hang out or anything but you can see them just a little peeking through the top of my shirt. I don't want to bring too much attention to them but now that I have them I certainly don't want to hide them! After I put on my make up and curl my hair I feel like a totally different person. Maybe this year will be a good year after all.

When I get downstairs my mom looks at me and whistles! "Who are you and what did you do with my daughter." She jokes spinning me around. "Wow! I can't believe how gorgeous you look honey! Oh let me take a picture!" "Mom! Come on stop playing!" I sit down to eat some cereal and drink some orange juice before leaving for school. "Hey did you hear about the Viking God's that moved in a few days ago?" Mom asks wiggling her eyes at me. I laugh,"Mom, not you too!" "Hey I'm just saying looking the way you do today you should try to bump into one of them." I almost choked on my OJ. "Bye mom, I love you!" I kiss the top of her head and run out the door.
As usual, I ride my bike to school but this time as I'm riding a car comes flying past me way too close and causes me to go flying sideways into a bush. "What the heck!" I scream as the branches are digging into my back and arms. Struggling to get out of the bush I hear a car pull up next to me. Alex, the Trojan Warrior, steps out in all his glory and walks around to the passenger side of the car. "Why are you sitting in a bush?" He can't keep the smirk off his face. "Why are you even asking? Don't you have better things to do with your time?" I spit back as venomously as I can which isn't saying much because I'm stuck in a bush. "Well, I thought I did until now. But this happens to be quite amusing." He laughs at me. "This happens to be quite amusing." I mock under my breath. "Here let me help you come on sweetheart." I reach my hand out to his and he pulls me up like I weigh nothing but a bag of feathers. "I swear Alex, you better not mention this to the preppy douchbags especially not Daniel! Or I'll cut you!" "You are a feisty one aren't you? I swear sweetheart not a word. What happened anyway?" He asks as he pulls some leaves from my hair. "Some jerk drove by way too close and it caused me to fall into the bush. Look! He even ran over my tire! My bike is broken!! How am I going to get to school?" Alex, with a look of concern, opens the passenger door, "Hop in sweetheart." I get in the car, he picks up my bike and puts it in the trunk and takes me to school. I check my face in the visor mirror just to make sure my make up is still in place and notice I have a long scratch from my ear to my collar bone. "Great I was, for once, going for the non tomboy look." I sigh. "Is Julie going to be at school early today? Maybe she can lend me some makeup." He looks over and laughs, "You women and your vanity, but yea she'll be there soon after us."

I get out of the car and realize I hurt my ankle sometime during the fall. Here I am trying to actually look like a girl for once and I'm walking in looking like something the cat dragged in. Great,
and if matters couldn't get any worse the Viking God shows up early today. "What's wrong with you?" He asks with the most smug look on his face. "I got into a fight with a bush and lost." I reply angrily and limp away. I see a small look of concern pass his face as he looks at Alex but I'm too pissed off to question it.
Thankfully the rest of the day goes by quickly and without incident. I limp over to my bike thinking I'm going to have to walk it home with my sore ankle but as I get closer it's fixed! The front tire was completely bent this morning and now it's in perfect condition! Who fixed it? Staring at it trying to figure it out Garret comes up to me. "Hey Charlee, I heard you hurt your ankle apparently you like to wrestle bushes first thing in the morning huh?" He asks in such a way I can't help but burst out laughing. He has one of those personalities that makes anyone feel good. "Yea apparently I should give it up, I'm starting to think I won't go far in that business." "You mean bushness." He cracks back. I couldn't help it I laughed so hard maybe I hit my head and had a slow brain hemorrhage. "That was lame!" "I know, I know, hey let me give you a ride home you shouldn't be riding home on a hurt ankle." I usually love riding but in this case I accept the offer.
