*Simon's POV*

"Hello! Hello! How are you, my baby girl? Did you sleep well?" I ask my one year old. I know Natasha has no idea what I'm saying, but I love the smile on her face when she sees me and hears the high-pitched voice I use.

I see my daughter make grabby hands to me as I near her crib. Laughing, I pick her up and cuddle her to my chest. Every time I see her, I can't help but hold her close to me. Protect her from whatever might try to harm her. She is my baby, well mine and Baz's, and I love her more than anything.

"Merlin, you are the most adorable child ever! Don't tell your Papa, but you look more like me than him I think. Your Papa is cute, but you and I know the truth, you get most of your cuteness from me. Tash, believe me, you are the cutest baby in the history of babies." I talk to my child.

I never actually thought about having children, only focusing on saving the world from the Humdrum, but now that I have one, I can't believe how I ever lived without. Natasha is more than I ever thought I'd have. She looks so much like me, but she looks so much like Baz too. She had his dark, soft hair and high nose. She also had my blue eyes and red lips and freckles covering her body. Amazing. I never had a family, a true family, but now that I have Baz and Tash, it's like heaven. I would do anything for them. I love them. More than anything.

"So you have all the looks?" I hear a teasing voice behind me. I smile at Natasha who too heard the familiar voice of her Papa. Turning around, careful to not drop the squirming Natasha in my arms, I see my husband leaning against the nursery's doorframe. A smirk placed on his lips as he sees my sheepish expression. I hadn't thought he would have heard me.

"Oh, you know you look amazing, Darling. I just think Tash gets most of her cuteness from myself. Not all, just most." I tease back and walk over to kiss Baz good morning. And just because I want to. Kissing Baz is definitely in top three of my list of favourite things to do.

"Well, I guess I can't argue there. You are quite adorable yourself, Love."

I blush at Baz's words. You'd think I would've gotten used to his embarrassing compliments, but I still blush at every one. Natasha whines between Baz and I, but when we look down to see the problem, we only see her smile and grab onto each of our faces. Squeezing our cheeks, she babbles incoherently, most likely trying to tell us she is hungry. Just like me, Natasha knows exactly when it's time for food and wants it right away. What can I say? She is my daughter.

My husband seems to be thinking the same thing as me because he takes her out of my arms and walks with her to the kitchen, complaining about how our daughter is too much like me. I laugh at his words and follow them. Watching as Basil straps Tash into her highchair, I fall in love with my family all over again. Baz, who used to be a rude and arrogant snob all the time, is gentle with our daughter and treats her as I do. Like she is the greatest thing in the entire universe. Which she is. Though one could argue that Baz is the greatest thing in the universe. I could never choose between them. I adore them both too much to choose who is better.

"Pancakes. I want pancakes." I tell my husband as I sit next to Natasha and watch as she starts to drool. Smiling happily all the while.

"Alright, I'll make pancakes as long as you feed Natasha. I swear to Merlin, every time I try she wants to have a food fight instead of actually eating the food." Baz complains. Okay, so he may not have changed that much since we were younger. He still complains and moans over every tiny problem he has. It's annoying yet endearing.

"She is only a baby, Baz. Give Tash a break, she doesn't know that food goes in your mouth and stays in your mouth." I chide my stubborn husband and grab the baby food from the fridge. We are starting to ween her off of it, knowing she has two teeth already and should start eating regular food, but she still insists on having the mashed pears and apples. Anything else, she will eat as regular food, but she has to have her pears and apples in the morning. Maybe we should see if she can chew on real apples and pears. I make a mental note to add the fruit to our grocery list.
