Sylvia Pov:

My arms were crossed over my chest, my eyebrow raised in amusement. The gates of beacon town slowly slide open and Jesse and Petra turn to Sylvie and I.

"Well...," Jesse begins placing her hand on her hip. "We actually did it!"

"Ha. Of course we did it," Sylvie states, crossing her arms over her chest.

"...It kinda seemed to easy though...," Jesse says, drifting off. "Now that I think about it...Jesse does have a point..," I say, my raised eyebrow dropping.

"Great...now I'm stuck here with two worry-warts," Petra groans, dramatically rolling her eyes. I shrug and Jesse's glimmering chestnut eyes meet mine.

"Well... I don't know about you three, but I'd rather collapse on my bed right about now," Sylvie says.

"Ah well...guess I'll see you later then," Jesse says with a light shrug and heading out of beacon town starting to walk away. "I'll be at Lukas' cabin if you need me."

"Use protection!" Petra shouts, her hands cupped over her mouth. Jesse swiftly turns around, walking backwards, her eyes narrowed playfully, "Shut up Petra!" She shouts, completely embarrassed. Petra shrugs, chuckling lightly and mumbles. "Just saying."

"You know your wrong for that one," Sylvie says, shaking her head while chuckling.

"Oh well," Petra says with a shrug.

"Yeah well...I'm beat so...see ya tommorow guys," I say, beginning to head home.

As I open the door to my house I am met with my happy little dog.

Sparky excitedly gazes at me with wide ebony eyes. His fluffy grayish-white tail was playfully wagging side to side.

I bend down and scratch behind his ear. My hand glides across his smooth glossy fur and his slobbery tongue quickly glides across my face.

"...I don't think I'll ever get use to that..ever," I say gently, standing up and walking towards my bedroom.

With a exasperated sigh, I plop myself onto my bed. I felt tired.

Sparky jumps on the bed too and lays across my chest. He cocks his head in my direction and gazes at me before letting his head fall on my chest.

A soft smile curls across my lips and I close my heavy eyelids.

My chest slowly rises and falls and I drift off to a worryless sleep.

A sudden bang wakes me up and I jolt upwards and blink rapidly. I glance at my clock, it's 2:54 am.

The first thing I notice is that Sparky is barking and snarling loudly.

Quickly, I spring up to my feet cautiously leaving my small bedroom.

I unsheath my sword, moving groggily. "What the-," I cut myself off taking a horrified step backwards. "How," I blink.

"Did you," I take a step backwards.

"Find me?"

"Simple," Her voice sounds cold and bitter. I don't hesitate to furrow my brow and narrow my eyes at my so called aunt.

"You know that little orb of yours isn't the only power source around," Genesis says, taking a threatening step closer to me.

I inch my way backwards, raising my gleamning sword a little higher. "What do you want from me!?" I exclaim, raising my voice.

I glance at Sparky who is growling and looking ready to pounce at my aunt.

"It's really simple. Really." She states and I roll my eyes while gritting my teeth. My grip around my sword tightens and without warning Genesis suddenly lifts me up into the air, an invisible grip wrapped tightly around my throat. My sword uselessly clatters to the floor and I gasp for air. Genesis chuckles and says maliciously, her eyebrows lowering.

"You."
