Sylvia pov:

The pain coursing through my body refused to end, but instead grew worse with each passing moment. I wasn't sure what was going to happen, but fear struck my heart because Genesis unlocked something I didn't even know about.

Genesis stood before me and I hated her presence because it was simply uncomfortable.

The world around me began to spin hastily and black dots clouded my vision. My screams started to fade away as they became muffled even to my own ears.

The agony became unbearable and eventually it caused me to pass out.

Sylvie pov:

I grit my teeth, my hands resting on my knees as I breathed quite heavily.

"I finally.... Lost the dang thing," I muttered quietly.

Unfortunately, I was deeper into the damp forest and it was still a threat to me.

As I took a step forward and instead of attempting to reunite with the rest of the gang, I wandered deeper into the forest.

I knew if I kept heading in this direction, that I'd find another orb, meaning I could get my powers back.

I don't know how long it'll be before I find it, but I know my effort will be worth it.

After who knows how long, I stumble through some ruins and step over broken roman statues.

A faint glow in the middle of the ruins caught my eye and I quickly rushed over to it.

An orb, floating in mid-air was there, but as soon as I grabbed it the ground beneath me began to collapse.

I fall unpleasantly and eventually I land on the solid ground with a loud thud and I dropped the orb which rolled in some random direction.

I quickly got up to my feet and winced. Great... Now my shoulder hurts.

As I clutch my shoulder and walk over to the glowing orb, I hastily pick it up with one hand.

The purple orb illuminates my face and my surroundings.

As I gaze into it, I feel it starting to control me just like when I first found one of these things.

Swiftly, I avert my gaze and take a deep shaky breath.

Not for evil.... Not this time.

I glance back at it and as my hardened gaze doesn't depart from it, the orb evaporates and scarlet sparkles flutter around me before eventually evaporating as well.

I can feel the power coursing through my veins again and it feels good to have it too.

Although, I take out a crimson glow stick and shake it hastily.

I hold it up in the air and I'm surprised to see carvings in the cracked walls.

The things engraved were written in Greek and lucky for me I just so happened to know it.

"Prosochí sto dídymo me kókkina sýmvola sto sóma tis, giatí boreí na se katastrépsei eán vrísketai se láthos chéria," One of the carvings said and it meant, "Beware of the twin with red symbols on her body, for thou can destroy thee if she is in the wrong hands."

I glanced for more carvings and sure enough I find some more.

Although, the carvings are difficult to read and I can't really make out the message.

I did pick up on something about an emerald necklace or something, but it's confusing.

Shifting my focus, I decide now would be a great time to get use to using my powers again.
