I stared blankly into the horizon. My weary mind was bogged down.

The cool wind was blowing against me gently, making my brunette hair sway slowly.

I struggled to comprehend what Nick had told me, but I was affected by it nevertheless.

"Please....just promise me something..."

A feeling of dread bubbles within me the same dread that had been stirring up in me for awhile now.

"Anything." Lukas replies, bringing me closer to him. "...Don't die..."

Lukas stops rubbing my back for a moment before continuing hesitantly, "I...I... promise."

A bitter, but pained chuckle escapes my lips. I asked him to promise something he'd never be able to keep... Silly me.

Tears begin welling up in my eyes.

I sigh heavily and bury my head in my lap.

Sylvia pov:

"Die.... Die.... Die...," Someone kept repeating that in my right ear.

I couldn't move my body and my mood was changing rapidly.

I felt myself start to cry hysterically then uncontrollably I thrashed around.

"Die...."

A pair of striking green eyes flashed before my vision and my heart began racing.

I woke up with a gasp as I slowly sat up.

Darkness surrounded me and my heart was racing frantically.

I glanced at my arms, the green symbols glowing dimly.

I didn't know where I was and why was it so dark in here?

Suddenly lights flickered on and I squinted as the bright light hurt my eyes.

A young man yawned before his attention turned to me.

When his hand dropped to his side he smiled softly.

"Ah thank goodness your awake," He said gently.

"Who are you?" I ask warily, as I tilt my head to the side.

"I can see why your skeptical of me," He says with a sheepish smile, "And by the way I'm Nathan."

He outstretches his hand, "And your name ma'am?"

I slowly shake his hand, eyeing him oddly, "Sylvia."

"That's a nice name," He says as his warm hand departs from me.

"Thanks," I say questioningly as I slowly cross my arms over my chest. Although, I wince as I do so.

"Well... I have to take you back to Jesse and the rest of her gang, but I have to make sure you're alright first."

I nod slowly.

"Can you think of Genesis for me?" He asks as he steadily adjusts his glasses.

At that moment, Genesis crossed my mind.

I noticed the symbols were glowing brighter and just for a moment I felt my mind slip away from me.

Evil thoughts had intrusively entered my mind for just a second and I breathed heavily as I regained control.

I gazed up at Nathan with wide eyes.

He was nodding leisurely.

"As expected," He muttered faintly, his hand resting underneath his chin, "...Although you should be fine to return to the others. Just try to not think of Genesis too much.. And for the love of God don't act impulsively."
