Unknown pov:
I glanced up at the large computer screen and grit my teeth as I typed furiously.
This better be worth it and I hope Sylvia doesn't get beat up too badly.
A photo of Genesis pops up as I enter the passcode.
I lower my brows and swiftly slam my fist into the keyboard as I read the information, cracking the glass screen.
"How in the world is she deceased!?" I mutter, enraged. That information clearly isn't right.
I tap my watch and bring it close to my red lips.
"Hey Sil, we have a bit of an issue," I say firmly, my tone concealing my rage, "The information I have says that Genesis is died and her last whereabouts before she passed were unknown."
I heard a sharp gasp on the other end and it was at that moment that an alarm set off.
"Crap," I mutter faintly, "I can't talk right now Sil."
I lower my silver watch and hastily grab my .22 caliber from my belt.
I hide against a pillar as the wide door leading to the room opens.
A soldier walks in quickly, feet heavily clacking against the solid floor.
He inspects the keyboard, running his hand gradually against it.
At that moment, I sprint over to him and by the time he glances in my direction my foot was already against his head.
In others words I kicked him.
He slumped against the floor as my foot made contact with his head and his eyes were shut.
I grasped my caliber, my hand squeezing the handle tighter as I saw more soldier's dashing towards the door.
Alright, they want to fight then it's a fight they'll get.
(Jesse pov:)
Genesis.... Is deceased!?
My eyebrow was raised as I processed this.
That can't be right...
At the moment, everything felt off and I didn't know what or who to believe.
I've seen Genesis a countless amount of times, so I had the benefit of a doubt about the information.
Sylvia pov:
I was breathing heavily, and water dripped down my soaked hair.
Water dripped down my face as well.
I threw a fit of coughs and I was on the cold floor since Genesis threw me to the ground after she nearly drowned me purposefully.
She kicked me in my rib cage.
Some of my ribs were already broken, so when she kicked me I felt pain like never before.
I felt like the breath that I had been trying so desperately to attain had been sucked out of me.
I groaned as I rolled to my side.
"I bet you won't do it again," Genesis muttered, frustratedly.
I hope Amy got the information otherwise all of this suffering I caused myself would be in vain.
Genesis kicked me in my rib cage again.
I groaned and coughed up fresh blood.
I struggled to breathe and I desperately tried catching my breath.
Genesis hovered over me, her arms crossed over my chest.
"You better not send someone else here," Genesis says earnestly as her fingers tap against her arm.
I clench my rib cage and I feel blood staining the palms of my hand.
My body ached and the deep gash that Genesis had made in my arm earlier stung like crazy.
I was silently hoping she would just end my suffering already.
Genesis huffed quietly.
"Maybe...," She trails off for a moment, "I'll feed you to the wolves if you do something like this again."
I gulp, that got dark real fast. Although, I had my doubts that she would actually do that to me because she still needed me.
(Jane Pov):
"Hey, Nathan can you do me a favor," I ask as I walk over to him.
Nathan adjusts his thick glasses with his pointer finger, glistening eyes locked on his laptop screen.
"I'm listening," His eyes didn't bother to budge from the screen, "What is it anyway?"
"Take a look for yourself," I say as I take out the shattered necklace.
Nathan glanced at me, his glistening eyes swiftly examining the object in the palm of my cold hand.
"Ok... What is this exactly?" He asks, gently taking a piece of the necklace and getting a closer look.
"The one thing we've been searching for awhile now," I say, "The green necklace, the one that was foretold."
Nathan's eyes widened.
"What," He said, "Wait... Where'd you find this?"
"Eh... Our allies had it," I said with a shrug.
"Do they have another one," Nathan asked hastily.
"Unfortunately no. That's why I brought this to you so you could fix it," I explained.
"Wait... Did they even give it to you or did you just take it," Nathan asked faintly.
Jane chuckled quietly, "Don't worry about that. They'll get it back soon anyway."
"Ugh... I won't be surprised if they question whether or not were really their allies," Nathan mumbled quietly.
I put my hand on my hip and Nathan glances up on me.
"Alright I'll see what I can do," He says nonchalantly.
"Thanks," I say and turn around.
"Oh and can you please not take anything else from them."
I glance over my shoulder.
"Whatever Nathan," I pause, "I'm doing them a favor anyway."
"Sure Jane... Sure," Nathan says, shaking his head slowly.
"Whatever," I say with a roll of my eyes, "Just get the thing fixed."
"Aye aye captain," Nathan says and salutes me.
"Ugh your being like Elaine," I say and walk out of the room.
Alright, let's get back to the order of the stone and see if they need some... assistance.
