Jesse please...just keep in mind that if they capture you... then they'll use you against us. They know what your capable of Jesse," Sylvia pauses, glancing at me for just a moment, "You...just can't risk that Jesse. Not this time."

(Petra pov):

"Alright gang let's get moving," I say, swiftly as I mount my horse.

Ivor who was already on his horse glances at me while Olivia and Axel nod. Sylvie walks up to me, her eyebrow furrowed as she grasps her lead. Her beautiful horse, a black stallion neighed.

"Are you sure about this?" She asks, "You're really just going to listen to Jane's suggestion without thinking things through first."

I sigh and gaze at her while I solemnly nod.

"As much as I hate to admit it Jane was right. Genesis will only grow more powerful the longer we wait," I reason briefly.

"I have a bad feeling about this...," She mumbles before speaking up, "But I'm looking for my sister while I'm there."

"That wasn't apart of the plan," I exclaim.

She nods quickly, "I know I know, but I have to get her out of there. You know for a fact that if it was Jesse you'd do the same," She points at Jesse who was unaware of the fact that she was being pointed at.

I know full well that she won't be changing her mind anytime soon because for one she's stubborn and... She's right I would do the same thing if it was Jesse.

"Fine, but if you get captured don't blame us," I say sternly.

She nods again and says earnestly, "I'll be fine plus I know my way around better than any of you here."

"So we're just leaving Lukas here?" Olivia asked her eyebrow raised.

I nod and Olivia says nothing more.

"Well let's get going already," Sylvia said softly.

(Jesse pov):

My heart was racing, thumping loudly against my chest.

I couldn't believe that Lukas was here!

The stakes were even higher than before.

What was I going to do now? What if Genesis uses Lukas to force me to do something?

"Jess."

I felt like crying.

His voice was so feeble and even his tone was full of so much agony.

"We'll make it out of here," He paused and groaned, "I.. Don't know how, but somehow we... will."

(Sylvia pov:)

The ride was long and took probably longer than they intended it to take.

My ebony cloak blew rapidly in the wind and I shivered. Boy, was it freezing out here!

Although even with this cold weather, I was formulating a plan in my head.

I had no clue where Sylvia was in the building exactly, but I had an idea of where she could be and just the idea alone ignited a fire within me.

Regardless of what was about to go down, I was still going to try to get her out of there.

"Alright gang," Jesse says, snapping me out of my train of thought, "We're here?"

I glanced up and gasped sharply.

"How...," I breathed,"No.. No way."

I simply couldn't believe my eyes.

Dark gray smoke was billowing from the building we were planning to attack.

The place was in ruins and debris was scattered everywhere.

I furrowed my brow.

This is not correct. I know Genesis she wouldn't let a building like this just go to ruins at least not without a fight.

But it seems like she let this happen.

"What the heck we traveled here for nothing," Axel said.

"This is a good thing-"

"Uh, did you hit your head Jesse! We have no idea where Genesis is now! How could that be a good thing?" Petra exclaims, enraged.

"Well maybe we can use this to our advantage," Jesse retorts, her eyebrows lowering.

"Calm down you two. Besides this trivial nonsense your both starting will lead you nowhere," The bearded man says as he strokes his raven colored beard.

"Well let's start heading back guys," Jesse said, quietly, "We need to pinpoint them now."

"Ah, I don't think so."

I whip my head and see Jane, her arms crossed over her chest.

"What do you want?" Petra immediately says, disgust contorting in her facial expression.

"You don't have to be so feisty geez," Jane then shrugs and says confidently, "Besides I'm here to help."

"Help how?" Jesse inquires.

"Yeah, it's not like we have absolutely no clue where Genesis is right now," Petra states sarcastically.

"Don't worry, I can teleport you to her base," Jane says.

"O-"

Without another word she teleported us without warning and I ended up falling to the ground.

Darkness was all around me and I groaned as I collided with the solid ground.

"Guys?" I mutter.

"We're here don't worry."

"But what in the world is this place?"

I glance up and I gaze at the mystic purple trees that were being illuminated by the moon.

She just had to teleport us here!? That little trickster! Her and Genesis go on that list that's for sure.

"Get your weapons out," I order the gang, "Because currently you're in a place where no mercy will be shone.
