Weeks, months have passed. I'm still with Luke. We are a couple, nothing bad happened. Ashton stayed his distance from us.

Today is me and Luke's 1 year anniversary.

I always want to be with him. I love him.

Tonight, he told me that he has a secret date for us.

"So, are you going to tell me this secret date? Or do I have to just find out myself?" I asked, taking another sip of my coffee. This morning we are at our little favorite cafe.

"It's called a secret" he chuckled.

I sighed. "Fine. I can't wait" I smiled.

"That reminds me. Here, is your gift" I reached under the table to my purse to get him my gift.

I handed him the bag.

When he opened it, he was so happy. "Babe! You shouldn't have!" he was so happy on what I got him.

"It's nothing. I just wanted to get it for you" I smiled.

"A car is nothing?!" he was so excited.

"Do you want to go out and see it?" I asked.

"Yeah, but how did you get the money?!" he asked.

"Well, I never spent my money from my allowances since I was 8. And with my job, at the day care, I got good pay. By the time I got the car, I had enough money. Plus my mom and dad pitched in" I admitted.

"I love you so much" he kissed my cheek.

"Let's go" I stood up and left with him outside.

"No frickin way. You did not get me a truck" he smiled. "I know you well" I shrugged.

"Yes, you do" he grabbed my waists, bringing me up into the air.

As he set me down, he told me he would be right back and he disappeared in the cafe.

Short after he came out. "Why did you go back in?" I asked.

"I payed" he replied. "You didn't have to pay" I said.

"Well, you got me a car. It was the least I could do" he said.

"Whateves" I laughed. "Let's go. Hop in. I have my license" he said, opening the door for me.

"Thank you" I hopped in the car.

He hopped on in his side and started the car. "Where are we going now?" I asked.

"Well, it's going to take a couple hours to go to where I want to go, so how about I bring you to your house, get changed into a dress or something fancy, I'll get changed into my tux, then we will go to the place" he smiled.

I nodded my head.

The drive to our house was very short. Only a minute long.

"Ok, I'll see you in a little bit" he pecked my lips before going our separate ways.

I searched in my closet for a decent outfit. He told me to get something good. But I knew I should get something fancy since he was wearing a tux.

I finally found the perfect outfit. The dress that I wore at the wedding Luke took me to.

I took a quick shower. After I did so, I slipped on my dress, slipped on sandals then I did hair and make-up.

I only put on red lipstick, purple eyeshadow and mascara.

I put my hair up in a stylish ponytail since I rarely put my hair up.

I have myself one last look in the mirror before going back to my room.

I grabbed my phone and house keys and took off.

Luke was leaning against the porch fence, his back facing me. "Ready?" I spoke up.

Luke turned around, he looked amazing.

"You, look so beautiful" he commented.

"Thanks. You look really handsome" I commented back.

"Thanks" he said.

Luke reached his hand out for me to take. I took his hand and I followed him to his new car.

He opened the door for me, I hopped in.

"We are going to have so much fun" he said. "Yay" I smiled toothy.

Hours passed, we really didn't talk much, we just really sang to songs that came on the radio.

"Here we are" he parked in front of a restaurant. It looked really fancy.

"Where are we?" I asked. "This really fancy restaurant. In Maine" he said.

I hopped out of the car, not letting him open it up for me.

He took me hand, leading me inside.

It was very packed. Everything was dark. Not too dark, but dark.

"We're not going to eat with these people, I reserved another table" he whispered.

"Table for Hemmings" he asked the waiter.

He nodded his head, walking over to another table. I followed both the waiter and Luke.

"Here you go" he stopped at a table, really fancy, in the back of the room.

A candle set in the middle of the table, smelling like French vanilla.

"This smells good" I said.

We say down, the immediate smell hit my nose again.

"You out done yourself Hemmings" I said.

"Thank you. Anything for my princess" he said.

Memories flooded my mind, the first time he said that to me. One year from today he said that to me.

"You said that to me today last year" I said. "Yeah, and it's still true" he said.

"Before we eat, I have a very important question for you" he got up, standing in front of me now.

He took his hand out for me to grab. I took it and I stood up.

He led me only a little in front of the table.

He kneeled down, on one knee.

I froze because I knew what he was going to say next.

Luke reached in his tux, taking out a small red box.

He opened it slightly.

"Emma Diamond. Will you marry me?"
