We finally made it outside without any more trouble with Matt.

"Ugh. I hate walking" I whined. "You don't have to walk" Luke had a mischievous smirk plastered on his face. "What do you mean? I'm walking aren't I?"

I looked up at him, and with one swoop, I was in his arms. Him cradling me like a baby. "Luke!" I laughed.

"I told you didn't have to walk" he smirked.

I just crossed my arms and looked away from him. "What? Are you mad at me because you lost your walking abilities?" he pouted.

"No" I mumbled. "Well then" he chuckled.

It was about a 7 minute walk back to our houses.

"Can you drop me now?" I asked, as we entered Luke's gate to his porch.

"Nope. Hold on" I said.

A little after, we were now in his backyard. He walked over to this swing. The ones that are like a couch but swing.

I was still cradled in his arms.

Luke sat down, still holding me. Refusing to let me go.

The sky was getting darker by the minutes.

"This is peaceful" I whispered. "Yeah" he smiled.

I soon felt my eyes getting heavier, so I decided to rest my head on Luke's chest. I knew he wouldn't mind because we were like best friends.

"You can sleep if you want" he whispered. "Nah, I will later" I yawned.

"Whateves" he laughed.

I giggled and lifted my head up.

"It's just so beautiful. The sunset" I smiled towards the subset in front of us.

"Oh, for a second there, I thought you were referring to me as being beautiful" he choked while he was laughing.

"No. I'm the beautiful one here" I bragged. "Oh shut up" I playfully punched his arms.

Luke just chuckled. Luke's laughs were the kind that would make you laugh too. It's a cute laugh too.

Luke stopped laughing for a second and looked at me, like he was missing something.

"What?" I asked. "N-Nothing" he quickly looked down at his feet.

"Why are you blushing?" he asked.

"I am?" I asked worriedly. "Yeah. You are" Luke's head slowly raised back up and his cheeks were blushing a light pink.

"Your blushing now" I pointed to his burning cheeks. "I-I am?!" he jumped up, making me fall to the grass.

"Thanks" I mumbled.

"Sorry Emma" I held his hand out for me to grab.

"Thanks" I said a little louder for him to hear me. "Sorry" I mumbled again.

"It's ok. But why did you jump?" I chuckled.

"I don't know" he looked down. "I think I should go back home" I told him, rocking on my heels. "Oh" he sighed.

"Your gonna miss me" I turned on my heel as I said that. "What? I am not going to miss you. Besides, I'll see you Saturday" I pointed out.

"Why not tomorrow?" I pouted.

"Cause, I'm busy with my mom"

"Doing what?" I popped my lip out this time, folding my arms across my chest.

"Food shopping" he answered.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. I'll leave. Bye" I mumbled. "Bye" he whispered.

I turned on my heel once more and walked to my house.

"I'm home!" my voice echoed through the house.

"Hey" Kevin walked pass me, going into the kitchen. Kevin had a bowl with him so I assume he had a snack.

I rolled my eyes as I passed him and went into the living room to find my mom and dad watching a movie of some sort.

"Hey" I mumbled, walking pass them to disappear from the stairs.

"Hi Honey!" my dad screamed.

I ignored it and went into my room.

Tomorrow is going to be boring because I can't hang out with Luke. Just great.

*Saturday*

Saturday rolled quickly. Yesterday was my lazy day. All I did was eat popcorn and ice cream while watching Netflix on my phone all day in my bed. It was fun.

I rolled out of bed and got ready for the cookout I was having. Actually, it was my moms for coming into a new neighborhood. She invited some of her old friends, new ones here, some family, and I invited Luke. My dad also invited some of his friends.

Kevin only invited his best friend from New Bedford.

"Emma! Moms wondering if your ready! And Luke is here already!" Kevin screamed from down stairs.

I rolled out of bed, panicking that I didn't even get ready yet. I grabbed my clothes that I laid out for today and went straight for the bathroom.

I didn't need a shower so I slipped on my clothes and did my make-up as well as my hair. Just putting in a high pony tail. Simple, but chic.

I gave one last look before exited the bathroom, bumping into none other than Luke.

"Sorry" I mumbled.

"It's fine" he mumbled. "What's up?" I asked, standing up straight.

"Nothing, I just came up to see if you were ready" he answered back.

"Oh, well, now I am" I smiled.

"I can see that" he joked.

"Let's go" I waved him over to my bedroom.

I didn't even care if I threw my stuff on my bed. What? Luke's like my best friend.

"Kay. Let's go" Luke smiled as I walked past him. Something is so messed up with that kid.
