Luke/ Are you feeling better?

Emma/ A little bit better

Luke/ That's good 😬

Emma/ I wish there was just an emoji that has a simple smile, without a blush lol

Luke/ Me too lol

Emma/ So how are you, Ashton and Natalie doing?

Luke/ Eh. Ashton and Natalie are like the only ones talking right now. Were heading back to my house. After they drop my off, Ashton has to go to his house back in New Bedford and Natalie's gonna go home

Emma/ Oh. Are they flirting?

Luke/ Eh. Not really. Y u ask?

Emma/ jw

Luke/ Oh

Emma/ I miss you guys already 😔

Luke/ Don't worry. How about I head to ur house instead? We can have a movie night

Emma/ Sounds fun 😊

Luke/ Gtg I'll see u in a few minutes

Emma/ ok

I tossed my phone onto my bed, heading out of my room. I have been texting Luke for a little while when I was about to leave. Successfully, my phone made it. Making a few jumps as it landed.

I headed out of my room, running down the stairs into the living room.

As soon as I hit the last step, the doorbell rang.

On instinct I ran to the door, stumbling on my way.

I swung the door open, revealing Luke. "Hey" he mumbled. I nodded my head and stepped to the side so he can get in.

He stepped in the house almost shivering. "Are you cold?" I asked.

"Kinda" he half smiled.

"C'mere" I moved out of the way completely and walked over to the couch.

"Here. I got the movie ready, popcorn and I have a blanket" I smiled.

"One? One blanket?" he swallowed nervously.

"Yeah, I won't need a blanket. You do. The stupid air vents are broken. Tomorrow it's going to get fixed. Until then, this house. Is a cold house" I laughed faintly after explaining.

He nodded his head and headed straight for a seat on the couch.

I grabbed the remote, and turned on the movie.

"You will like this movie. It's scary. It's called Insidious" I said, grabbing the popcorn with my hands, my eyes never diverted away from the television.

"Ohhh. I've heard of it before. I never watched it" he said. I looked at him, in shock.

"You never watched this movie before?" I asked dramatically.

Luke shook his head no. "Wow" I looked back at the tv, the movie was starting.

About half way through the movie, Luke started noticing me shivering. It was very cold in my house. There were really no other good blankets around, and I didn't want to be rude, asking him for some blanket.

"Your cold, come here" he nudged my arm for me to come closer to him.

"Ok" I mumbled.

I came close enough to him for our shoulder touching.

Luke wrapped some blanket around me, allowing a layer of warmth around my body.

"Thanks" I said. "No problem. If your tired, you can rest your head on my chest if you want" Luke said.

I looked up at him, resting my head on his chest in the process.

I could hear his heart thump every second.

"I'm so tired" I blurted out. "Then sleep" Luke said. "I can't just sleep on your chest" I protested.

"Yes you can. And you will" he shot back, ending with a chuckle.

I just chuckled back and continued to try to sleep.

Soon enough, my eyes shut, and my mind drifted off somewhere else to an amazing dream.

*Dream*

"Luke?" I asked. "Emma!" he called from behind.

I whipped around and found Luke standing behind me with a rose.

"What's the rose for?" I asked.

Everything was how it was. We were at the sidewalk. I don't know why.

"A beautiful girl" he stated. "Who?" I looked confused, but inside, I knew who it was. Probably Natalie.

"You" he smiled, handing me the rose.

I reached for it, but in one swift movement, I was in Luke's arms. Luke's forehead nestled on top of mine, our lips were just hovering over each other.

"Emma?" he asked. "Yeah?"

"I'm in love with you"

*End of Dream*

After those five words came out of his mouth, I shot up. Waking up.

I found myself next to Luke. Luke was sleeping, his head on the couch, and I suppose we slept.

I smiled at looking at Luke. He was just so precious when he slept. It was cute.

"Morning" Luke mumbled. "Morning" I was more awake than him.

"Did we seriously fall asleep on the couch?" he asked, I looked up at him, his eyes were shut but he was smiling.

"Yeah" I said.

"I'm just glad I got to spend the night with a very amazing girl"

I froze at his comment. "Thanks Luke" I muttered.

"I'm just speaking the truth"

I don't think he realizes what he says because he is mostly asleep than awake.
