"Mrs. Hemmings?" the nurse came in and asked for my name.

"It's just Ms. Diamond right now" I replied.

"Oh sorry. But you and your son may go home any time you want. He is very stable"

"Thank you" I said. The nurse nodded her head before she left the room.

"Let's go get our son and get the heck out of here" Luke said.

I nodded in agreement as we left the room with my bag.

I opened the door to Matthews room to see that he was fast asleep.

Luke held him up, as I grabbed Matts bag.

"Ready?" he asked. "Ready" I replied.

I held the door wide open for the two of them.

When we got to the check out counter in the lobby, I saw some things that I wanted to cry about.

Old men in wheel chairs, men with no legs or an arm, women that look like they have been through a lot. Everything was just so sad. The lobby itself was so gloomy and grey.

"Ready?" I whispered to Luke, tugging his arm.

"Yeah" he whispered back. I held onto his arm as us three walked out.

"Emma! Luke!" I heard a familiar voice scream our names. Both Luke and I slowly turned around and saw Ashton running towards us.

When he finally caught up to us, he kneeled down and breathed heavily as if he was just in a marathon.

"Hey" I mumbled. "Do you three need a ride?" he breathed.

"No thanks. We have our own car Ashton" Luke sternly said.

"Oh" was all he said. Luke and I turned back on our heel and walked away.

At mid way to the car, I turned my head slightly and saw Ashton checking me out. Head to toe. I rolled my eyes and turned my alternation to the car in front of me now.

"Let me buckle up Matthew" I offered.

Luke agreed and handing me him. "Emma" he cut me off from buckling him. Matthew was already in the car.

"Yeah?" I motioned him to continue. "I just can't believe he asked to bring us home. He probably wants a free show. To watch you. Ugh" he finished.

"Yeah. He won't come near me like that Luke. I promise you" I said, raising my hand to make a promise.

"Promise?" he asked. "Promise" I finished.

Then I buckled Matthew up and hopped in the passenger seat.

"Let's go home" Luke whispered to himself.

We didn't say anything to each other the whole way. The only sounds were the low music from the radio and the yawns that came from Matthew here and there.

"Were home" he mumbled as he parked in front of a huge apartment building. It was made out of red bricks and was probably 4 stories high as I can tell.

I hopped out of my car, unbuckling Matt as Luke took my bag and Matthews bag.

I opened the entrance door for him as he led the way.

There were long hallways, fancy wallpapers. Floral patterns.

"Here is our home" he said followed by a smirk.

I was amazed when he opened the door. "Is this a penthouse Luke?" I asked, turning my head back to Luke.

"Yep" he popped the 'p'.

"Come on" he dropped the bags on a couch. I guess the entrance is in the living room. Cool.

I followed Luke up some stairs and it was followed by a long, wide hallway.

Two rooms on each side. "Here is our room" Luke opened the first door on the left.

I entered the large room. A large bed for two, two windows, a drawer, paintings, and my favorite color for the wallpaper. Baby blue.

I smiled as my eyes looked all around the room.

"Amazing" I complimented. "It doesn't stop here" he chuckled.

A huge grin appeared on my face as I made it back into the hall.

"Here is Matthews room" he opened up the door that was right across from ours.

I looked through the room, a medium blue covered the walls as paintings of sports equipment all over each wall.

"Did you paint these?" I asked. "Yeah. I did this room all myself.

My eyes landed on a crib made and I landed Matthew in it so he can sleep.

I looked down at him. It was sad to see him with practically one leg, but it was a miracle that we made it out alive. A miracle.

"He's so handsome" I complimented, holding onto Matthews little hand.

"He's amazing" Luke wrapped his strong arms around my waist. I let go of Matthews grip and turned around to hug Luke.

"This is a miracle" I whispered.

"Yes. Yeah it is" he replied.

I heard a rolling come in the room. We both turned our heads and found some kind of device roll along the rug.

Some kind of smoke came out of some holes. "I don't feel to good Emma" Luke fell to the ground. I fainted as well. Why does this keep happening to me?
