"Luke. Wake up babe" I shook Luke's shoulder.

Last night, Luke didn't want to leave me so he slept with me in the hospital bed. He's so sweet.

"W-What?" he asked, tired as ever.

"Sorry to wake you. But I just had a really bad feeling" I said.

"About what?" he snapped, shooting right off the bed.

"I don't know. Can you just please go and check on Matt?" I asked.

Luke did so, leaving the room.

He came back in a couple minutes.

His face was red, smiling.

"What?" I giggled.

"He's just so freaking cute Emma" he smiled.

"So, may I ask how and why you had this bad feeling?" he asked, plopping down next to me again.

"I don't know. I just woke up, feeling that Matt was in trouble" I explained rather worriedly.

"I won't let anything happen to Matt. You too. You both are my world. If anything happened to either of you, I would be a mess" He finished.

I looked up at him, but looked away and nestled my head into his neck.

"Nurse, help now!" I heard screams and calls for doctors and nurses from the hall. Luke stood up and went to grab the handle of the door.

Before he could reach it, the door flew open, revealing a worried doctor.

"What's the problem?" Luke asked.

"I need to have a word with you both. Sit down Mr. Hemmings" Luke did so and sat next to me.

"What happened?" I asked, rather annoyed.

"Your son, he is in immediate surgery right now. Some part of glass was left in his leg. We couldn't reach it. It's infecting other organs of his body. We are doing the best we can" As the doctor said that, my hand shot right up to my mouth, I didn't want to cry. I wanted to stay strong for my Matthew.

"I'm so sorry" he said.

Just then a tall, black haired nurse came in.

She leaned down next to the doctor and whispered something I could hear.

The doctors eyes widened and shot right up to meet my eyes.

"What?!" Luke screamed.

"This isn't always easy to tell the parents-" the doctor stood up.

The tall nurse started to cry but soon exited the room.

"Tell me!" I screamed.

"Your son is dead Ms. Diamond" he answered.

My world felt like it collapsed. My world was crumbling down.

I sobbed and sobbed until nothing remained.

"No!" I screamed over and over again.

Luke tried to sooth me but we both knew that he wanted to cry too.

"This can't be happening!" I cried.

"I'm so sorry for your lose" the doctors voice cracked.

"Can we just have a moment?" Luke asked, calmer than I imagined it to be.

The doctor did so, leaving the room.

"No! This can't be happening!" I cried again, sobbing in Luke's neck and chest.

"I know. This will be over soon Emma" he rubbed my back.

"I want him. I want my Matthew. This isn't happening. Why would god take our son away from us?! Why!?" I screamed.

"I don't know baby. I don't know" he bursted out into cries as well.

I kept repeating no, and this can't be happening. Cause it couldn't. Why would God take my son away from me? I didn't know why.

"Mr. Hemmings, Ms. Diamond. Your son, he's alive" the doctor budged in.

"What?" I asked. "It's a miracle! Your son came back after sudden death. He came back!" he yelled in excitement.

"Is this some sick joke?" Luke asked. "No!" the doctor yelled.

"How can this be possible?" Luke asked.

"We don't know. Your son died but came back to life after a minute or two" he calmed down.

"This is impossible-" I cut Luke off.

"Luke, it's a miracle"
