"What? How did you know?" he asked. "She whispered it to me when I left" I said.

"I'm sorry" he was worried, scared, nervous.

"Why?" I asked.

"I felt bad" he said. "You didn't have to kiss her. A kiss. That's a big deal. Why didn't you tell me?" I asked, calmly.

"I don't know" he whispered. I was mad, but I didn't show it.

"Just talk to me when you sort things out with her" I wiped some tears away, pulling out of Luke's hold.

"Emma-" I cut him off. "No, don't Emma me. If you like her, if you have feelings for her, go after her" I finished.

"I don't have feelings for her Emma. I have feelings for you. That's why I want to marry you" he said.

"Then why did you kiss her? And don't give me that crap that you felt bad. We both know that's not true. We both know that you had feelings for her" I said.

"I did before. But I fell in love with you" then he ran off to his house.

Before he went into his house, he turned his head to me. With that sadness in his eyes. His fists clenched but he stopped when he got in.

I sighed, almost about to tear up. Before I did I ran back inside.

The bad thing is, Luke's window is right in front of my bedroom window.

I slammed my bedroom door shut, knocking almost everything over. I didn't notice but my window was wide open. When I went to close it, Luke was in his room, knocking everything over too.

"I can't believe this! I'm such an idiot!" he screamed.

I stood by my window, staring at him.

Luke noticed me and went to his window to talk to me. "Emma-" he said, shutting the window.

"What" I said. Our windows were close enough to talk to each other. We used to do this during our year together.

"I-I love you" he stuttered. "I love you too" I smiled weakly but then shut my window.

All I wondered that night was if he really loved me. What if he didn't? I shouldn't worry about that.

"Honey? Do you want to talk?" my moms frail voice echoed through my room.

"I don't want to" I answered. "Ok. Do you need anything?" she asked.

"No thanks" I heard some people talking, I heard an Australian voice come from the hall.

"Honey? Someone is here to talk to you" she said. "Come in" I replied.

"Hey Emma" he said.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"Because I heard what happened. Natalie told me" he said.

"And? How is this any of your concern?" I asked.

"Because even though I did what I did, I still care about you" he said.

"Come in" I patted the spot next to me.

He came in and shut the door. "Why do you still care about me Ash?" I asked.

"Because. I have known you since we were born" Ashton said.

"Huh" I sighed. "Emma. Even though I hurt you, I still love you"

Ashton leaned in for a kiss, but I pulled away. "No, I can't" I whispered.

"Please?" he asked.

"No. I'm already engaged" I told him. "With Luke?" he swallowed.

"Yes with-" I got cut off by someone knocking on the door.

"Emma?" a frail voice asked from the other side of the door.

"Come in" I said.

Luke came in. "What's he doing here?" he asked.

"He came her to talk about the incident" I said, my head shooting down the my lap.

"Oh" was all he said.

"I'll go, so you two can talk. I'll talk to you tomorrow or something Emma. Bye" Ashton kissed my forehead and left.

Even though he hurt me, I still counted him as my best friend.

"Did you two kiss?" he asked.

"No" I sounded a bit annoyed.

"Good" he mumbled. "What if he did? I mean, you kissed Natalie and shook it off as if nothing happened" I said.

"Emma. I said I was sorry. I didn't mean to do anything. I didn't mean for any of this to happen" he pleaded.

"But it did" I started to tear up.

I stood up, brushing my gown flatter.

"You look beautiful in that" he commented. "Thanks" I mumbled.

"No problem. Just stating the fact" he said.

"Huh. Cheesy" I chuckled.

"I know" he laughed.

"What now? Does this mean were like still together or what?" I asked.

"I hope we can be still together" he said.

"I-I lov-" I got cut off by Luke's lips.

"Luke" I mumbled into the kiss. "Shh" he shushed me.

"Luke" I pulled away.

"I can't do this" I said.

"Why not?" Luke asked.

"I can't have a child alright!" I screamed.

"What do you mean?" Luke asked.

"I actually went to the doctors a few days ago. I asked if I would be able to carry a child. Just in case if I wanted to you know? They said something is wrong with my body. I'm not able to carry a child Luke" I admitted.

"What?" He asked, he was scared.

"I can't carry a child Luke" I repeated.

"It's ok" he said, faking a smile.

"No it's not. I really wanted to carry your child. Our child Luke. But I can't" I sniffled.

"It's fine. There's a thing called adoption. We can save a child from being family less" he chuckled.

"Thank you Luke" I said. "For what?" he asked.

"For being there for me. For never letting me go" I sounded very cheesy. But it was the right moment.

"Your welcome" he smiled.

I couldn't have a better life.
