No More Hiding

As I read each word from that paper it irritated me more and more.Darius was out on probation because they said he didnt know I was pregnant at the time and it wasnt enough evidence against him to put him in jail for it.He did 4 months and now he's out and there was nothing I can do but keep my restraining against him and hope for the best.

After reading the letter I immediately called my lawyer because I felt like I should have been notified the moment that nigga left his jail cell I should have been notified by phone, My lawyer told me it was a high chance that he would be out soon and I should have believed him.

My emotions were numb at this point,It was like I was hit with a ton of bricks. I felt like I went through all this bullshit for nothing,just a waste of time and money ,if I knew if was gonna be like this I would have killed the nigga my fucking self.

Chris walked in with some soup and a water bottle as I got off the phone.

"Whats wrong"He asked,I looked at him shook my head,He said the food down

"Nothing"I said,He lifted my chin

"Tell me and tell me everything"I sighed

"Its something I really rather not talk about right now"I said wiping my eyes,He nodded

"Just know I'm here and you can tell me anything no matter what it is"I nodded

"Thank you"I said

I didn't want to tell Chris because it wasn't his problem and I honestly didn't want him to be involved in any way knowing his temper. We were working on co parenting with Zayden and the last thing I wanted was to fuck up what we have going right now.

After eating my soup and Chris watching to make sure I ate it,I heard Zayden crying from his room.

"Mommy"Zaden said walking in slowly looking at me,I wiped my face more

"Ok lil man lets go get something to eat"Chris said picking him up

"I want mommy"I smiled and held my hands out to him

"Well forget yall too then"Chris said making me laugh

I sat in the bed with Zayden and played with him for a while until he fell asleep again,When he did I laid him on my chest and slowly started to doze off until Chris came in.

"You want me to take him to his room"I nodded,He picked him up and walked out

I sat up and stretched a little bit,Chris came back in with a cup of Canberry juice and ice.

"That ugly ass face"He said laughing,I stuck my middle finger up at him and he made a kissy face

"Im starving"I said getting up,Chris ran over to me before I could even take a step

"I'll fix you something"

"Im sure I can fix my own shit Breezy"He smiled

"Yea you definitely feel better,that soup and medicine gave yo big head ass energy huh"He said making me laugh

"Fuck you"I said,I then noticed a big red hickie on his neck
