"Really?!" you exclaim. He nods.
"Well I can't do the tour whilst I have this cast on," he says, waggling his poor blue arm around.
"Yeah, okay. But, Al, I have no money," you say.
"You think we do the tour for free?" he says, laughing. "It's fine, we have money,"
"You could of died, y'know?" you say, darkening the mood by just a tad.
"Hmm," he mutters. He looks up at you, struggling to keep a straight face for more than a couple of seconds. Every time he looks into your eyes, you had found, he always breaks into a dorky smile.
"Four weeks, eh? Whatever will we do for four whole weeks?" he grins. You roll your eyes and the Doctor walks in.
"Hope I'm not interrupting anything? But I would just like to say we think its best Alex stays in one more night then we'll let him go tomorrow, just to keep an eye on his head."
"Why? What's wrong with his head?" you panic.
"Well, nothing major, but there was a certain scratch that could lead to something big possibly. It probably won't, but it's best to check on him over night." the Doctor explains.
"Hey, don't worry, I'll be fine" Alex mutters, taking your hand. You nod.
"I'm going to go and see if the rest of the lads are okay," you say to Alex. He lets go of your hand before kissing it briefly but softly. You walk out the room and try to find Matt. You ask at the front desk and they say where he is.
"Matt?" you say, opening his door.
"Oh, hey" he says, he's scribbling down something on a piece of paper.
"Whatcha drawing?" you ask, nosily.
"Just some drum shit," he mumbles, stuffing it into a bag. "Me and the guys are going to sleep in a hotel tonight. I spoke to Alex, before and I don't think he's allowed out tonight so are you gonna come with us to a hotel?" Matt asks.
"Yeah, Alex is staying in hospital tonight so I may aswel. Are you lot allowed out now then?" you ask. Matt nods.
"Tomorrow we'll pick Al up. I reckon we stay at the hotel tonight and then get Al then stay there another night then go the airport next day?" he says. "Bit shit for Al if he has just got out the hospital and he has to go on a plane straight away."
You nod in agreement. "I'll go say goodbye to Al and meet you all in reception in like an hour?" you say.
"Okay," Matt says, giving you a quick hug. You rush out the room, to go and say goodbye to your boyfriend for yet another night apart.
