// hello! I'm back bitches! Just a little message that as this story hasn't been touched in 2 years.. Oops.. You might wanna look at my last chapter for the little update on what's happened and stuff and also if you're an older reader that's been reading this fanfic from the beginning it'd probably be wise of you to read this story again, which is actually what I did so you understand what's goin on. Also, I know my little punk ass 14 year old self used to always make excuses that I was "busy" if I didn't put a chapter out when actually I just had writers block. This time if I say I'm busy I'm truly busy as i have exams coming up. So if you're going to be invested in this story again please please don't expect as regular updates as last time. I just wanna progress this story as I do enjoy making it and I felt sad reading it and it was being left on such a cliffhanger! Anyway I'll stop blabbing. Enjoy this chapter! //
"I can't believe you work here.." You say quietly but still trying to remain professional.
"Yes. I can't wait to work with you. Actually, we have an office party tonight as there are quite a few new people joining the office today. You should join." Ryan said, smirking.
You couldn't believe this. He was being so unprofessional. It was your first day though, so you had to suck it up.
"Sounds great. What time?" You grin at him.
"At eight. Hey, Alex is always welcome." He smirks evily.
"No, I think I'm going to go alone actually." You say, trying not to let his cocky remarks bug you.
"Even better" he says, picking up his papers and walking away.
You frown after him. You can't make a bad impression. All you have to do is turn up.
Alex would be so mad if he found out you were going to a party where Ryan was, you couldn't tell him. You wouldn't tell him.
